“They brainwashed our elders” Shehnai Maestro Bismillah Khan’s grandson levels grave allegations on Congress party

Congress, bismillah khan

These General elections have been witnessing meek attempts from political parties to manufacture and peddle fake narratives to aid their electoral conquest. With parties desperate and peddling fake narratives to save political ground from the BJP, these attempts are failing to stand the test of cores of Indians over social media. These narratives which earlier used to get unopposed traction from elite media circles are also questioning their credibility for reporting verified news.

In another embarrassment for Congress, it stands exposed again for manufacturing false narratives this time by political manipulation and intimidation. Nasir Abbas Bismillah, the grandson of Bharat Ratna Bismillah Khan, has said that the family was brainwashed by the Congress party functionaries in 2014 when they had refused an invitation from the then Lok Sabha Candidate from Varanasi PM Modi to become a proposer in his nomination form.

Speaking to Times Now, Nasir stated that his family was approached by Congress party functionaries to reject the invite. According to Nasir, “Our family member had received an invite from Modi jee to be proposers for his nomination in the 2104 Lok Sabha elections, which our family had accepted, but some Congress party members approached and brainwashed our family. They insisted we say the version that Congress party wanted to portray instead of our views, Congress leaders also asked to declare our self as Congress supports including my grandfather Bismillah Khan, hence we are refusing the invitation.”

The grandson of legendary musician Bismillah Khan also added that the family now regrets their decision and rejecting the offer of PM Modi was a big mistake and now the entire family wants to be a part of Narendra Modi’s nomination process.

As with 2014, the Opposition is trying very hard to undermine PM Modi by any means necessary.

Recently, a letter on twitter surfaced claiming that 156 Veterans of the Indian Armed Forces including 8 former Chiefs of Staff have written to the President of India urging him to act against PM Modi for trying to use soldiers for votes. Congress had tweeted:

“Modi may try to use soldiers for votes, but it’s clear that soldiers stand with India and not the BJP. 156 Veterans of the Indian Armed Forces including 8 former Chiefs of Staff write to the President of India urging him to act against Modi for trying to use soldiers for votes.”

However, Congress’ unethical attempts were fast exposed by different stakeholders. Different decorated veterans came out and exposed the frivolous act to misrepresent and misguide Indian citizens and use veterans as a political tool.

Former Army Vice Chief Lt General ML Naidu had claimed that he had no knowledge of such letter written or signed by him.

General SF Rodrigues had also denied signing such letter.

ex-Air Chief NC Suri said “I am not a signatory to any letter”

Even Rashtrapati Bhavan sources had denied receiving any such letter written by the veterans;

This comes at a time when the Congress has been on the hotspot continuously for multiple revelations, from people who have claimed the Congress had used their name for political purposes to gain support. However, with the dominance of Congress-media ecosystem losing relevance peddling such narratives will not be easy as it has been for decades.
