In this exclusive interview with journalist Aarti Tikoo Singh, the former and first CM of Chattisgarh, Ajit Jogi has appreciated PM Modi for his work and policies brought in. He appreciated him for cleanliness, housing schemes and his global reach.
Ajit Jogi has been an ex-member of INC and currently heads the Janta Congress Chattishgarh which is in alliance with the BSP. The leader has supported to a large extent the motives of PM Modi and his work to build India. He spoke about the world’s largest cleanliness survey, the Swachh Bharat Mission, being a great success and helped the poor and rural India, and overall in improving their standard of living. The mission according to him has helped tremendously in improving the quality of life of the people living in the rural sector.
Ajit Jogi who recently wished the defeat of the BJP, however, appreciated the housing scheme of the ruling party. Grameen Awaas Yojana according to Jogi has done far better than the Indira Awaas. “The reach of Grameen Awaas has been wider and has helped way more rural people than the Indira Awaas had.” said the former CM.

The schemes such as Swachh Bharat and Grameen Awaas has benefited the female section of the society. They now have a toilet to use and home to stay. They are now more empowered and hence increased their quality of living. The CM agrees that the way the country has transformed under Narendra Modi was not witnessed previously.
The most unquestionable is the global reach of the PM Modi, which was also recognized by Ajit Jogi. He said that the way PM Modi has brought India on the international map is commendable. He mentioned that very few prime ministers have been able to make India take unshakable stand. Mr. Modi in this regard has been the strongest among all of them. This indeed is true. India today holds an important place in various international institutions like the United Nations. The success of India’s intervention into import global issues like terrorism has been praised and supported. The politician did not stop himself from appreciating the charismatic leadership of the PM which helped him emerge as a great leader.
The success at UN, OIC and other important global summits, has proved the capability of the Prime Minister to make India a superpower. The politician has said that the people of Chattisgarh are happy and it has impacted the entire country alike.
