The Congress and various journalists spread fake news and doxxed Sapna Chaudhary

Sapna Chaudhary, Fake news

With the Congress struggling to keep hopes for the 2019 general elections alive, the propaganda machinery of the Congress is on to the task, after failing several times in different campaigns .Various reports over famous singer and performer Sapna Chaudhary joining the Congress were making the rounds on various platforms. Different verified accounts joined in to share the ‘news’ which later turned out to be totally fake. Photographs of Sapna Chaudhary with the ‘new kid on the block’ Priyanka Gandhi Vadra had also surfaced. Raj Babbar, the noted congress leader had also shared the photograph on twitter.

Sapna Chaudhary came out and rubbished all the claims regarding her joining the Congress. Sapna claimed that the picture released by the Congress is dated and the form is clear cut forgery .As per ANI, she said, “I have not joined the Congress party. The photograph with Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is old. I am not going to campaign for any political party.”

Sapna Chaudhary not playing by Congress lines didn’t go down with the Congress. Many Congress supporters, who were earlier rejoicing, came out and started attacking Sapna Chaudhary over Twitter and other platforms. Pallavi Ghosh,  a noted Journalist, considered close to the Congress , shared a Congress Membership form showing Sapna Chaudhary over twitter. Clearly with malafide she didn’t even care to remove Sapna Chaudharys contact details from the image of the form that she shared, basically leaking her private contact details over the internet for Congress IT cell trolls to hound upon, Irresponsible journalism by Pallavi Ghosh sets a new low record in the history of journalism in India, Sharing ones personal contact details over a sensitive matter, clearly amounts to doxxing and a case for investigation.

With congress supporters celebrating Sapna’s joining, reality hit them very hard and probably led to their rash and insulting behavior. Noted journalist, Rohini Singh also joined to spread the ‘fake news’ had tweeted, “Sapna Chaudhary is a huge catch for the Congress. Much, much bigger than Gautam Gambhir for the BJP”.

Clearly suggesting that the Haryana based performer had joined the Rahul Gandhi led Congress. Close scrutiny of the form also speaks lengths about the desperation of the Congress and its supporters. The form allegedly filled by Sapna Chaudhary clearly mentions that the signature is only valid between 2011 and 2015 which makes the form, fake or not, but void for sure. Amit Malviya putting rest to all the doubts tweeted the picture of the form he tweeted “Shocking! Singer Sapna Chaudharys claim that Congress forged her membership document and released dated picture are true. Look closely, the form released by Congress, which apparently carries her signature, is valid for a 5 year period between 2011-15 and is not a recent one!”

With a long list of Sportsman and artists which include Gautam Gambhir, Ravi Kishan, Manoj Tiwary, Babul Suprio, Hema Malini, Rupa Ganguly, Sreesanth and others joining the BJP, Congress with its dynastical attitude has failed to attract any one from the said categories to join their campaign. With time running out to protect the political relevance of Congresse, its fake news machinery is also in a proactive state, meek and unlawful attempts like these are sure to be identified easily criticized and prosecuted.
