In what suggests the possible doom of Pakistan-backed terrorists in the near future, NSA Ajit Doval has hinted at more action in retaliation of the Pulwama terror attack. He indicated this while addressing the CRPF jawans on the 80th Raising Day of the Central Reserve Police Force. The National Security Advisor said in clear and lucid terms, “The country has neither forgotten, nor will it ever forget the Pulwama terror attack. The leadership will decide on the time and locations to act. Be it against terrorists or those who support and harbour the terrorists.”

During his speech, NSA Ajit Doval also paid tributes to the CRPF jawans who were martyred in the dastardly Pulwama terror attack. Doval also said, “I can assure you that the country’s leadership is very capable to effectively respond to such acts (Pulwama) of terrorism and those who aide it (sic).” He added, “What should we do? What should be our way, our aim and our response and time to respond? The country’s leadership is both capable and courageous to (do) that. The country will tackle all such challenges and we have the courage to do this.”

Days after the Pulwama terror attack, the IAF had carried out airstrikes deep into Pakistani territory. The IAF had struck and struck hard at the Jaish e Mohammed (JeM) terror training camps located in Balakot, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. The IAF was successful in hunting down Pakistani terrorists in the pre-emptive strikes on the JeM terror training camps. India had also launched a diplomatic offensive against Pakistan isolating the terrorist country at a global level. With only China supporting the rogue nation and that too for its own interests, Pakistan has been facing tremendous pressure to crack down on the terror outfits that it has raised on its soil.

However, NSA Ajit Doval’s unambiguous remarks clearly suggest that IAF airstrikes in Balakot have not conclusively ended India’s retaliatory response to the Pulwama terror attack. It is very much possible that India might look for other aways to crack down on terror outfits and their supporters operating on Pakistani soil and crack down on them in a big way. We can definitely expect more action in retaliation to the Pulwama terror attack.
