Since the Pulwama attack, and the subsequent IAF strike, the nation is witnessing a lot of politicisation on the hands of the opposition parties. Congress and other parties don’t seem to be concerned with the defence situation of the country and are instead worried about losing their vote bank. In the wake of these situations, citizens have recognized Modi as a strong and honourable leader, guiding the people on the enlightened path. In this fear the opposition parties have been trying time and again to divert the attention of the people from the actual issues and instead making them focus on petty fabrications. This has now reached to a drastic low wherein congress has insulted IAF Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman, the braveheart who was recently released by Pakistan after being captured as a prisoner of war.
Going a step above their established precedence, the Grand Old Party has once again proved that they cannot respect anyone without a Gandhi-Nehru surname. In a bid to scorn and disregard the armed forces, Congress’s online magazine Yuva desh has been caught spreading a fake video. In the said video, a woman seen ranting against the BJP is passed off as the wife of wing commander Abhinandan Varthaman when the truth is, she is not even remotely connected with the IAF pilot.

The magazine has captioned the fabricated video as “Abhinandan ki patni ka sandesh ki sainiko ke balidan par BJP na kare rajniti #Abhinanadan”
Translated as, “Abhinandan’s wife requesting BJP not to politicize the sacrifice of the soldiers #Abhinanadan”
Whereas the truth of the matter is, Yuva Desh embarrassingly has not even bothered to view the very video they have spread which clearly states the woman, “I am an army officer’s wife” and goes on to say, “Just imagine the kind of tension and pain Abhinandan’s family is going through.”

Moreover, Abhinandan Varthaman’s wife is a woman named Tanvi Marwaha who is a former IAF pilot. A clear comparison between the two women show their striking dissimilarities.
This clearly proves that the woman of the video isn’t actually Abhinandan Varthaman’s wife. It was just a piece of deceptive publicity aimed at bad-mouthing BJP, an attempt to politicise the sensitive situation. Moreover, it has come to light that the woman seen in the video is Sirisha Rao. From her Twitter, it is clear that Rao volunteers for the Aam Aadmi Party.
It is no secret that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has been vying for an alliance with Congress in the state of Delhi. It is pitiable to see the limit at which Aam Aadmi Party is willing to succumb to in order to please Congress. At every election apart from Delhi, Aam Aadmi Party has contested; they have consistently polled less than NOTA. Not a record any full-time politician will like to include in their CV. Now the Modi government fear has hit him so hard that he’s afraid of the same outcome in Delhi. This fear is making them go to desperate levels to somehow strengthen their hold in Delhi, whether their strategy is ethical or not is irrespective.
The fabricated video was the first attempt at Congress and Aam Aadmi Party’s work together, allying with each other. How unfortunate for them that this has blown in their entitled faces, just like their Mahagathbandhan will, should it ever happen. People who want to spread fake news and propaganda just cannot be helped and it has once again come to light that Congress and Aam Aadmi Party are full of lies and corruption run by a bunch of insensitive incompetent low-lives who cannot even give the lies a rest when it comes to respecting the armed forces or uniting the nation in the threat of a war.
