Extremists mock Sonu Nigam as they hail his illness as divine justice

Sonu Nigam, Illness

(PC: Hindustan Times)

Recently, famous singer Sonu Nigam developed a sudden skin allergy post one of his concerts, and he had to be hospitalized for the same. He posted an image of himself in the severe condition on Instagram as follows:-

The singer thanked thousands of his fans, who not only supported him but also wished for his well-being. He wasn’t far from the truth either since his Instagram post was flooded with scores of comments, with most of them feeling concerned about the singer’s health, and others hoping for his quick recovery.

However, not all were worried about his health. The extremists, who were aghast at Sonu’s comments against arbitrary use of loudspeakers, found a sadistic pleasure in mocking his illness.

Following are some of the nasty comments, extracted by a vigilant FB user:-

For those unaware, Sonu Nigam had created a storm when he objected to the use of loudspeakers in religious places. Though he specifically spared none of the religions, the left-liberal journalists intentionally covered his criticism against the use of Azaan, for which the radicals went hammer and tongs after Sonu.

Coming back, not only did the bigots have the gall to term Sonu Nigam’s illness as ‘Divine Justice’, but also they wished for his immediate death. Imagine if the same words were said by some Hindu extremist, the left-liberals would’ve brought the whole house down. However, the culprits are from the community that must not be touched, so the media will now act as if nothing happened.

This is not the first time, however, that a specific group has wished for the death of a person publicly. When ex-PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee was taking his last breath during illness, some left-liberals wished that he died soon.

How can we forget the lowlife jibes taken by Congress backed leader Jignesh Mevani, who wanted PM Modi to either die in the Himalayas or commit suicide. The list is endless, and curiously the left-liberals don’t find freedom of speech under siege here.

Moreover, Sonu Nigam had never minced words in his criticism about various superstitions and malpractices in Indian society. He even took on the Indian film industry for ignoring Indian singers and allowing the unnecessary allowance of Pakistani singers and artists, even when Pakistan is continuously murdering our soldiers guarding the borders.

To be honest, haters will hate. However, we wish best for Sonu Nigam and hope for his speedy recovery. May he continue to mesmerize us with his soulful voice as before!
