Ram Gopal Varma blasts Imran Khan tweet after tweet

Ram Gopal Varma, Imran Khan

The recent Pulwama attack has caught Pakistan on the wrong foot. Even as Pakistan denies any involvement of the state, the signs of their hysteria are clearly evident from recent events. Be it the repercussions of the economic boycott, or the panic that has set in the Pakistani armed forces and the terrorists, everything is clearly not going well for Pakistan.

To make matters worse, Pakistan PM and ex cricketer Imran Khan Niazi tried to clarify Pakistan’s stance on this issue. That he ended up making the situation worse instead is another matter. The following tweets reflect how concerned the current PM was about the dastardly terror attacks that killed more than 40 of our CRPF personnel:

However, one man did not take Imran Khan’s jibes lying down. Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma, known for his eccentric statements as well, posted a five tweet long jibe on him, as shown below:-

As reflected in the tweets, Ram Gopal Varma, once well known for his movies like ‘Shiva’, ‘Kaun’, ‘Satya’,’Company’, went after Imran Khan with hammer and tongs . Not only did he take a savage dig at his controversial married life, but he also took potshots at his allegiance towards terrorist organizations like Taliban, Al Qaeda etc. According to the tweets, Ram Gopal Varma wished to know whether it is possible to have a dialogue with a person who is running towards another, equipped with deadly RDX.

This is neither the first time Imran Khan has been trolled by Indians for his attitude, nor is this the first time that Ram Gopal Varma has taken such savage digs at a personality.  He was one of the first few who not only saw through the theatrics of incumbent Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, but also denounced him as an ‘attention seeker’. He even took a dig at Kejriwal with his character in the rather criticized the movie ‘Sarkar 3’, which was played ably by Manoj Bajpayee, one of the few bright spots in the otherwise drab movie.

Also, Ram Gopal Varma has taken it upon himself to expose the reality of incumbent Andhra Pradesh CM N. Chandrababu Naidu. His upcoming film ‘Lakshmi’s NTR’, aims to focus upon the last 7 years of the Telugu superstar’s life, and how he was betrayed by the very person whom he had groomed as his political successor, in a clear reference to the current Andhra CM.

To be frank, Ram Gopal Varma is no hero. He has had his fair share of highs and lows. However, the way that he has responded to Imran Khan is something that one must take note and also sends the Indians a clear message: do not let Pakistanis get away with anything.
