Ever since the Pulwama terror attack killed more than 40 CRPF personnel, the nation is not only shell shocked by the huge loss but also furious, demanding stern, punitive action against the perpetrators of this terror attack. The Central Government has minced no words in bashing the Islamic terrorists behind this attack and has promised the country of effective retribution for the same.
While scores of people are doling out millions in favor of the aggrieved families, others are contributing in terms of either socially or economically boycotting anything or anybody with even a remote connection to Pakistan. In this very scenario, media agencies have now flexed their muscles as they debarred the coverage of the much-touted Pakistan Super League (PSL).

DSport and IMG Reliance, which were broadcasting highlights of the PSL, have now pulled out completely, citing ‘national interests’. To quote the official press statement of DSport, “We’re seized of the matter and it is a topic that is occupying our minds. We are sensitive to the national issue and we are considering how to do it. There are a few technical issues involved.”
This is not all. Famous online cricket portals CricBuzz and Dream 11, which were also covering the PSL, have pulled out from the same, citing the same grounds as DSport and IMG Reliance. Quite recently, the portrait of Pakistani cricketer and current PM Imran Khan has been pulled down as well in the prestigious Cricket Club of India (CCI). To quote the secretary of CCI Shri Suresh Bafna, who spoke on the issue, “We condemn the terror activities carried out against our army and CRPF personnel. Though CCI is a sporting association but nation comes first even before sports.”
Not only DSport and IMG Reliance, even parody pages like Terribly Dank Tales, which is well known for their savage word puns, have decided to black out their visibility to the Pakistani users, as posted below:-
Only a couple of days ago, WION news, which is the sister concern of Zee News Network, rejected the entry of Pakistani delegates to the recent global summit, which also included former Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf. The message is clear: Pakistan is not going to get away after the cowardly Pulwama attack. Enough is enough.
Economically, socially, culturally and politically, India has pulled out all stops to ensure that Pakistan does not have a single ally to support them. Be it international sanctions, or bans by the entire Indian film industry, India is all set to give Pakistan the hardest lesson of their lives. Pakistan has had a habit of messing with India time and again, but this time, they’ve messed with India at the wrong time.
