Pakistan caught lying: Wreckage of downed F-16 fighter found in Pakistan occupied Kashmir

IAF, F-16

Pakistan has been caught lying yet again. After Pakistan violated the Indian Airspace, it made a tall claim that Pakistan had shot down two IAF MiGs. In fact, even the Pakistan PM had said, “Our action was only intended to convey that if you can come into our country, we can do the same. Two of their MiGs were shot down (in the ensuing action).”

However, the IAF had made it clear that only one MiG was shot down and the IAF had succeeded in downing one PAF F-16 fighter jet. MEA had said, “The Pakistan Air Force was detected and the Indian Air Force responded instantly. In that aerial engagement, one Pakistan Air Force fighter aircraft (F-16) was shot down by a MiG 21 Bison of the Indian Air Force. The Pakistani aircraft was seen by ground forces falling from the sky on the Pakistan side.” It added, “In this engagement, we have unfortunately lost one MiG 21. The pilot is missing in action. Pakistan has claimed that he is in their custody. We are ascertaining the facts.”

In what exposes the lies of the Pakistani military establishment, it has been reported that the wreckage of the PAF F-16 has now been found in Pakistan occupied Kashmir. ANI reported that as per sources, the Commanding Officer of Pakistan’s Northern Light Infantry inspected the site where the wreckage of the downed F-16 has been found. Things are becoming clearer now. The real version is that the Pakistani jets violated the Indian airspace and targeted Indian military installations but the IAF which was in a state of high alertness replied in an appropriate manner. The IAF acted promptly and the PAF jets were beaten back. While one MiG was lost in action, a Pakistani F-16 was also shot down.

Pakistan tried concocting the real turn of events and claimed that it had shot down two MiGs belonging to India. This is further evidenced by the fact that the picture of a portion of F-16 wreckage is the same picture which was earlier being circulated on social media and widely claimed to be the wreckage of an Indian MiG fighter. This clearly exposes how the Pakistani authorities were indulging in chest thumping and misleading their own citizens about what had transpired on ground. Pakistan had to somehow show off its failed PAF raid and therefore it relied on lies and deceit in order to create a false impression.
