In its infinite longing to snatch Kashmir from India, Pakistan has waged countless wars against India only to suffer humiliating defeat. Over the period, it changed its strategy and launched a proxy war against India. Pakistan realized that it could not win a conventional war against India, and so started the covert operations aimed at bleeding India with thousand cuts. In order to facilitate this new strategy, Pakistan started backing and supporting terrorist groups operating against India. Pakistan sponsored terror attacks in India and were a part of this strategy aimed to destabilize the nation. The terror nation injudiciously believed that such a strategy would provide it with immense advantage as India cannot retaliate since there was no overt action from Pakistan’s side. It also enjoyed the support of International community.
However, now the tables have turned. With the grounded surgical strike after Uri terrorist attack and now with the Indian Air Force (IAF) air strike deep in the territory of Pakistan in response to the Pulwama attack has shown that India will inflict heavy retaliation on any adventurism be it overt or covert, effectively neutralizing Pakistan’s strategy.
Commending the valiant strike by the IAF, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said that he is proud of the Indian Defense Forces. “We have told Pakistan that our martyrs’ sacrifices will not go waste. I am an Indian and I feel proud today. I am waiting for more information but I feel proud of what information I have got till now,” added Fadnavis.
As per sources, 200-300 terrorists were killed in the ferocious airstrikes carried out by the IAF. This is even bigger than the surgical strikes which had been carried out after the Uri terror attack. There are further reports that two JF-17 fighter jets of the Pakistani Air Force were shot down by India. This is the rise of new India as India has struck like never before. The country has shown that it will not tolerate Pakistani terrorism and will go deep inside and strike hard.
With the use of IAF, Modi government has sent a clear cut message to Pakistan that its adventurism would not go unanswered and India will employ the use of the exact language which terrorist countries understand. Additionally, India also, with the use of IAF, dispelled the notion and false sense of security that terror protectors feel in Pakistan that any Indian response would be limited to within a limited range of Line of Control. India has affirmed that it has the ability and the will to strike deep into Pakistan without any hesitation if so required to preserve the defence of the country. It has also sent a clear signal to Pakistan that if it wants to confront India it has to do it directly and not through proxies.
