Former President George H. W. Bush was passionate about strong relations between India and USA. His presence will be sorely missed. May he rest in peace.

Senior Journalist Shekhar Gupta also decided to pay tribute to George H.W Bush but he ended up getting trolled on social media. The journalists of his news website The Print used a pic of George W. Bush instead of George H.W Bush, and Shekhar Gupta tweeted it with RIP message.
Social media users were quick to point out the blunder committed by Shekhar Gupta and The Print.

Shekhar Gupta kills the wrong Bush. This is unfortunate on so many levels since Shekhar Gupta is the president of editor’s guild of India it becomes even more horrible. He should not have committed this bizarre mistake in the first place and secondly, he should have apologized for committing such a huge blunder. He later, corrected his mistake and The Print came up with the right picture but no apology came from Shekhar Gupta’s side.
RIP George HW Bush. And may your finest line live on for ever: I am now the President of the United States, and I will no longer eat broccoli…https://t.co/MXO4LOepeo

Some social media users also asked Shekhar Gupta to do an introspection whether he his fit for the job of journalism or not.
Calling yourself a senior journalist….
Journalism is more of a Service to Truth, then a profession.
Ask yourself Sir, are you fit for this job?
Do you feel guilty?

Deleting the tweet will not help the case, screenshot will always tell the truth, said one social media user.

One Twitterati asked all those who were trolling Shekhar Gupta to see the positive side of the tweet. At least Shekhar Gupta and his team came up with Human bush.

This Bush Blunder is going to be another feather in the cap of Shekhar Gupta. The crowning achievement in the career of Shekhar Gupta was when he wrote an article hinting at a probable coup by the Indian Army in 2012. His news concerning the Indian Army’s unnatural movement towards New Delhi could have caused panic in the country but was soon put to rest by the Indian Army officials and the erstwhile UPA Defence Minister AK Antony. It’s just because of people like Shekhar Gupta, people have stopped taking journalism and journalists seriously.
