The Indian media is famous for its biased and shoddy journalism. There are many left-leaning media houses that have incipient hatred against the BJP and its leaders. It opposes even the good and positive steps of the BJP leaders taken for the cause of National Interest. The media has been relentlessly opposing UP CM Yogi Adityanath’s encounter drive against the dreaded criminals of the state. The on-going all-out war against crime and criminals in UP has been successful in eradicating many notorious and dreaded criminals from society. However, some sections of media claimed that ongoing encounters are fake and innocent people are being killed. Some even propagated the theory that criminals from only a particular caste and religion are being killed in the police encounters. However, UP government busted this nefarious narrative as well.

On the other hand, Lutyens’ media has maintained a stoic silence on Karnataka CM Kumaraswamy’s open instruction to his state machinery to murder a person mercilessly in an act of pure revenge.
Honnalagere Prakash, a Janata Dal (Secular) leader was hacked to death on Monday, 24 December in Karnataka’s Mandya area. The murder was carried out by four bike-borne criminals who chased Prakash’s car and brutally slashed his neck and arm using a machete. However, the shocking part of the story is that hours after the murder of the JD(S) leader, Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy was heard speaking on the phone, telling the person on the line (assumed to be a senior police officer) that the killers should be shot dead without mercy.
#WATCH Karnataka CM HD Kumaraswamy caught on cam telling someone on the phone 'He(murdered JDS leader Prakash) was a good man, I don't know why did they murder him. Kill them (assailants) mercilessly in a shootout, no problem. (24.12.18) pic.twitter.com/j42dqiRs0a

Kumaraswamy seems to have given the license to kill to the state police. In a video that has emerged, HD Kumaraswamy is heard saying on the phone that he was a good man and further added that he was not aware who killed him and who killed him in this manner. Shoot them (the killers) mercilessly, there would be no issues. It is shocking that a CM of the state is ordering extra-judicial murder and yet no outrage has been seen from the media.

The Op-ed warriors and the human rights crusaders are yet to utter a single word on the open order of extra-judicial murder given by Karnataka CM Kumaraswamy. The intolerance brigade which called for CM Yogi’s resignation and demonised him for his encounter drive against the criminals has yet to issue a statement on the murderous rant of Kumaraswamy.
The stoic silence maintained by the cabal only signifies that they virtually approve Kumaraswamy’s order of the extra-judicial killing, and it also shows the hollowness of their rhetoric on law and order and human rights. It further shows their utter unwillingness to go against anyone not belonging to the BJP. For them, there is neither intolerance exists in the state nor do they find democracy is in danger in Karnataka. In fact, it is because of the liberal utopian world that the Congress is in power in the state in coalition with the JD(S).
