What is the one thing that comforts you when you’re flying thousands of feet above the ground level, probably the on-board crew member that flies with you, isn’t it?
But have we ever applauded them once for their tireless efforts to make us feel comfortable and at home? No, for sure would be the answer! We conveniently forget that they aren’t super humans but homo sapiens just like us.
Seems like the above points didn’t go well with the Irish Lady. In an unfortunate case an Irish lady was found misbehaving with Air India crew members while on-board, as she hurled abuses and racist remarks at the crew members and even spat on the crew, after she was denied extra drinks. Claiming to be a Human rights activist, she clearly forgot about the basic human rights that led her to such a shameful act!

On being refused extra-drinks she started to make unwarranted hue and cry about the situation as she started to abuse the crew members. Even while she was all engrossed in hurling all possible ‘worldly abuses’ the crew members gracefully handled her and kept themselves reserved during the situation.
The attendants even had bruises on their hand but still didn’t react to her.

A journalist while praising the crew member, went to the extent of seeking appreciation for the Air India crew, from the Civil Aviation Minister Sh. Suresh Prabhu and office of the Prime Minister of India.
Quite clear from the reactions below, Air India crew deserves praise. Hope @sureshpprabhu gives appreciation certificates to the staff for showing such patience. @moca_goi @pmoindia

The cabin crew reserves the right to deny extra servings who ‘had more than they should‘. They also have the right to threaten the passenger with a stopover. The passenger would have to get off the plane and compensate the costs of the stopover, which can be tens of thousands of rupees. As the last resort, aggressive passengers, in danger of hurting themselves or others can be handcuffed by the cabin crew.
It is quite evident in the video too that passengers are shocked and embarrassed by the whole situation. The self proclaimed Human rights activist went to an extent of saying that, “If I write Boycott Jet Airways, it is over and If I write Boycott Air India it is done, it is over”!
We can only imagine the quality of her work as a “Human rights activist”. Her racist rant is a testimony to her hypocrisy, as she looks down upon the very people she claims to help.
