The Turkish media which is nowadays known as Islamist Erdogan’s spokesperson, ranted against the Indian government. It accused the Indian government of ‘spreading Hindu-Nationalism’ by using Hindu pilgrimage sites. TRT World- a national media outlet of Turkey- made these accusations. They specifically targeted Amarnath Yatra in Kashmir. It said that India is carrying out cultural imperialism in Kashmir by using Amarnath Yatra. It attacked the government for not regulating the number of pilgrims in order to ‘protect the environment.’ In the 1980s’ the number of pilgrims were 2000 which is far less than the total number of pilgrims-1,50,000- participating in the Amarnath Yatra this year. It made many other nauseating comments insulting the beliefs of millions of Hindus.
The Turkish media also perpetuated the nefarious agenda of liberal-secular mafia gang of India. It shamelessly indulged into spreading ridiculous misinformation that Amarnath cave was discovered by a Muslim shepherd, Buta Malik in 1850.
This is a blatant lie. A well-reputed twitter handle, True Indology, has busted this lie many times. In the year 1842 when British traveler GT Vigne went to Amarnath, he saw the gathering of Hindu pilgrims from all over Hindustan of every caste and rank. He wrote the following about Amarnath Yatra in 1842.

Islamists and separatists of the Kashmir valley perpetuate this myth to discredit the thousands of years of Hindu past of the Valley. They portray that the Yatra is of recent origin in order to show Hindus as the colonizers of the valley and run their shops of separatism by demanding a ban on the Amarnath Yatra. Anti-Hindu historian, intellectuals, liberals and leftists subscribe to the same narrative and enthusiastically spread it as well.
The fact of the matter is that Hindus are performing Amarnath Yatra since time immemorial even when the Islamic barbarity was at its zenith in Kashmir.
This is what the Nilamata Purana, a book written before the origin of Islam says: “By bathing at Amaresha, a man gets the merit of donation of a thousand cows.”

The Amarnath Yatra also finds mention in the remarkable work- Rajatarangini- of great Kashmiri historian Kalhana of the 12th century.
François Bernier a French traveler who visited Kashmir along with Aurangzeb in 1663 writes, “The grotto full of wonderful congelations is the Amarnath cave, where blocks of ice, stalagmites formed by dripping water from the roof are worshipped by many Hindus who resort here as images of Shiva…”

All these scriptures and documents are enough to prove the hollowness of the claim that a Muslim shepherd Buta Malik discovered Amarnath cave. The entire myth of Buta Malik was manufactured in the 20th century. It’s just a hearsay mainstreamed by the liberal-leftist-secular lobby of India.
Yes. Actually, no such person called "Buta Malik, the muslim shepherd who discovered Amarnath " ever existed. The whole myth was manufactured in 20th century. It is entire fake . But "secularism" demands it not be questioned. Repeated ad-nauseum by Indian celebrities https://t.co/ZbY40piXGJ

As far as Turkish media is concerned it should first of all worry about its own country. It should address demands of Kurds of its own country who wants freedom from tyrannical rule of the Turkey and Islamist Erdogan. It is also quite ironical that the media of a nation ruled by a dictator has the audacity to call a democratic country a ‘colonizer’.
