Neeraj Bharti, a prominent Congress leader from Himachal Pradesh mocks Bhagwan Shri Krishna on Janmashtami

neeraj bharati, congress

Congress president Rahul Gandhi is away from the country on his Kailash Mansarovar Yatra to prove that he is a janeudhari Hindu who follows the Hindu religion to the T. His Kailash Mansarovar Yatra at the very best can be thought of as a political tool prior to the Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan elections and the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. While Rahul is trying to lure people with his newly founded Hindu image and is trying to make people accept Congress as a pro-Hindu party which is interested in the welfare of the majority community in India, but the actions of his comrades speak otherwise. Former MLA and ex-parliamentary secretary from Congress Neeraj Bharti has used his social media profile to make Rahul’s job harder. Neeraj Bharti has used his social media profile on Facebook to denounce Bhagwan Krishna and he chose the occasion of Janmashtami to do so. Rahul Gandhi who is away on a trip to Kailash Mansarovar will have to face some tough questions upon his return owing to the actions of his party members.

Neeraj Bharti is the son of former MP of Lok Sabha and veteran Congress leader, Chander Kumar and is married to ex-Youth Congress President Monika Bharti. Neeraj Bharti is no small politician himself either as he had served as the Chief Parliamentary Secretary (Department of Education) after being elected from Jawali Constituency of district Kangra, Himachal Pradesh till 2017. A habitual abuser he is prone to using slangs for his political opponents no matter their stature in public life. Even former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee was not spared from the lashing tongue of this downtrodden person who masquerades as a visionary political leader.

Every other post by him is full of derogatory comments or it is directed towards some political leader from the Bharatiya Janata Party. From PM Modi to Textile Minister Smriti Irani, all ministers of the BJP have been ridiculed in the most vulgar way possible by this Congress leader at some point of time. He chose the occasion of Janmashtami to share a photo which clearly derides the Hindu religion and its followers. The photograph shared with an equally stupid comment on top means he wanted to take a dig at the followers of Hindu religion and infuriate religious sentiments of the people. His actions are a far cry from the image building process of Rahul Gandhi wherein he is trying to portray himself as an ardent Hindu devotee.

While Neeraj Bharti’s actions need to be condemned for their content and their undertone which is to enrage the Hindu majority population, his oust from the Congress should be taken care of at the earliest if Rahul Gandhi and his party want to keep up the gimmick of them being pro-Hindu. Neeraj Bharti through his stupid tricks has laid to the rest the ploys of Congress an act which would have been difficult for the common public on their own. The facade of Rahul Gandhi and Congress seems to be breaking down on its own due to the loud behaviour of its members; it is amazing how these frogs have begun croaking at the right time to lay bare the hypocrisy of Congress.
