It feels that the already defunct think tank of Congress is running on fumes now, if nothing else then the Congress president Rahul Gandhi and his speeches are proof of this. Much noise had been created around Rahul Gandhi and his two day visit to the state of Madhya Pradesh which is going to hold state assembly elections later this year. Rahul Gandhi on his two day trip gave speeches without substance and prayed at temples without devotion to please non-existent voter bases of the Congress in Madhya Pradesh. Accompanied by Madhya Pradesh Congress president Kamal Nath and state party campaign committee chairman Jyotiraditya Scindia and Leader of Opposition in MP assembly Ajay Singh the Congress ‘prodigy’ committed blunders after blunders. Addressing a public rally in Chitrakoot Gandhi claimed that the Sardar Patel statue being made by the central government in Gujarat is actually ‘Made in China’; this was followed by baseless promises of making MP and Chitrakoot a hub for mobile manufacturing.
Rahul Gandhi and the Congress are peddling lies at a never seen before pace after the Congress dynasty politics has ruined India for more than 60 years. Rahul Gandhi claimed that the Sardar Vallabhai Patel statue being made by the BJP government to commemorate the contribution of the legendary leader to the nation is being built in China. This absurd lie was immediately debunked by spokespersons of the Larsen & Toubro Ltd. (L&T) which has been given the task to make the statue. Officials of the L&T dismissed the claims made by Rahul and clarified that the statue is being built in India. The only raw material which is coming from China for the statue are bronze plates which will be put together and erected on the core of reinforced concrete and structural steel at the Sadhu Hill site . The L&T official statement read, “The entire statue itself is being built in India at the site and only the bronze cladding in the form of bronze plates is is being sourced from China, which constitutes a negligible amount of less than 9% of the total value of project.”
The second allegation from Rahul Gandhi was that a senior officer at the Ministry of Defence was punished by the central government for proclaiming dissent with the governments take on Rafale deal. Rahul Gandhi and other Congress followers took this bait thrown by their party president and fell in the trap, using social media and other means to target anyone and everyone possible. Their lies however were laid to rest once again when the official who was supposedly ‘sent on a leave’ dismissed all the claims of a punishment being forced on him by the central government. He came out to speak to a news channel where he openly denied any ‘punishment’ being meted out to him, he clarified that he had gone on a vacation for a pre-planned study trip abroad. The officer had indeed dissented with the Rafale deal but that was not the reason for his leave as he clarified in his media interview. Rahul Gandhi had crossed all levels of decency by terming PM Modi as a ‘thug’ while incorrectly blaming him for the treatment meted out to the officer.
Rahul Gandhi is lying through his teeth once again, a trait which has been used by the Congress for ages to stay in power by fooling the public. He is turning out to be just like his predecessors who looted India to fill their own coffers, the scion of Nehru-Gandhi must not be allowed to continue with their lying ways and they must be held accountable for their claims. Congress needs to be a good party before it can think of ruling India again and sadly Rahul and his supporters are failing with each passing day.
