Time and again, some citizens of Pakistan have called it a terrorist nation and expressed their desire to seek independence from the oppressive rule of Pakistani regime. In the past few years, demand for independence in regions like Balochistan, Sindh, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Pakistan occupied Jammu & Kashmir is on the rise. According to videos accessed by My Nation, people of Khyber- Pakhtunkhwa are protesting vigorously against the Pakistani army and against the brutal killing of Haroon Bilour, leader of Awami National Party (ANP), in the run-up to country’s general elections scheduled this year. The Awami National Party is a secular and leftist Pashtun nationalist political party of Pakistan. ANP was the largest Pashtun nationalist party in Pakistan between 2008−2013 with influence lying in the Pashtun dominated areas in and around Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.

According to the my nation report, the videos which have surfaced from a nearby area of Peshawar, people can be seen raising slogans against Pakistani army Chief Qamar Javed Bajwa, calling him a “terrorist” (rightly so) and accusing the army of killing their leader. They are shouting “Iske Peechhe Wardi Hai” (uniforms are behind the killing).

In an exclusive interview to My Nation, Senge Hasnan Sering who has been fighting for the independence of Pakistan occupied Jammu and Kashmir in exile from Washington, used the incident to raise the demand for Indian intervention on behalf of PoJK. Senge Sering has been highlighting the atrocities perpetrated by the Pakistani establishment and Pakistani Army against the people of PoJK at international forums. His video where he exposed the Pakistani establishment over human rights in POJK had gone viral.

Senge Sering, in an earlier interview to DNA, had said, “The people in GB (Gilgit-Baltistan) are tired of being treated like Pakistan’s colony. It uses our resources but doesn’t give any rights to locals. Forget rights, persecution fills us with fear. Even the mention of creating special enclaves for Kashmiri Pandits has led to so much outrage, in GB we’ve so much unquestioned Pakistani influx. We live in a state of siege.”

In an interview with my nation, he said, “India has been entrusted by the United Nations to protect life, honor, assets and liberty of people of Jammu and Kashmir which includes PoJK. Fast deteriorating situation in Pakistan compels people of PoJK to improve their communication with India and United Nations and try to find a way out with minimum suffering and consequences.” He further added, “People of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are raising slogans against the military chief of Pakistan, General Bajwa, and calling him a terrorist. They are blaming Pakistani military establishment for murder of Haroon Bilour who was killed by a suicide bomber during an attack on his election campaign.”

Senge Sering continued, “Military’s short-sightedness has turned Pakistan into a powder keg. Despite warnings from the USA and the United Nations, Pakistan is adamant to continue on the path of destruction. Pak military’s decision to enable militant leaders and outfits contest election and run campaigns only add to polarisation and destruction of social fabric.”

Senge Sering also tweeted: “Defining moment in #Pakistan political landscape as protesters openly call PAK military chief General Bajwa a terrorist & soldiers surrounding them seem completely numb & helpless. Military has turned PAK into a powder keg. Hope generals live long enough to witness the fireworks…Religion: The force that made Pakistan shall unmake it.”
