PTI chief Imran Khan targets PM Modi, warns India

imran khan, modi, oath

The Pakistani puppet prime minister in making, Imran Khan has started spewing venom about India and prime minister Modi even before winning the rigged elections in Pakistan. The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief even attacked former Pakistan prime minister Nawaz Sharif and called him a stooge of India.

In a warning to India, he stated that Nawaz was very soft towards India and that India and Modi love Nawaz but hate the Pakistani forces. He also believes that India is tensed about him coming to power. It seems that the stooge of Pakistani military establishment is living in a world of his own. In fact, Pakistan has always tried to bog India down by sending terrorists but India has invariably  fought back. It was never tensed or terrorised by what Pakistan is doing.

Like any staunch Pakistani, Imran Khan has also alleged international conspiracy against Pakistan. He alleged that the entire international establishment including India wants a weak government to be installed in Pakistan. But the reality is that Pakistanis are fed up of its terrorist army and intelligence agency leading the country, those affected by Pakistani dictatorship now want a democratic government to be established in the state. But with people like Imran Khan appeasing military leaders, a democratic government in Pakistan is nothing more than an illusion.

The 65-year old extremist leader was addressing a rally in Karachi when he made these remarks. He also accused Sharif and others behind the insidious conspiracy to hurt the credibility of the general elections in Pakistan. Khan further stated that Nawaz Sharif who is currently serving a 10-year jail term in Adiala jail in Rawalpindi has time and again defamed Pakistani institutions and armed forces.

This is not for the first time that Imran Khan has made such distasteful and bitter remarks about prime minister Modi. In fact, in 2016 he said that prime minister Modi had disappointed him and even called Modi a ‘prejudiced Indian’. Earlier, this month Khan launched an even more serious attack on prime minister Modi and tried putting all the blame for fragile Indo-Pak relations squarely on prime minister Modi. Imran Khan said that while the ousted prime minister Nawaz Sharif made all attempts to defuse the tense situation between India and Pakistan, prime minister Modi adopted a firm anti-Pakistan policy aimed at isolating Pakistan internationally. But the truth is that prime minister Modi made all attempts to ensure peace between the two countries. However, due to terror attacks at the instance of Pakistani army, forced India to adopt a hardline against its terrorist neighbour. As far as the issue of Pakistan being isolated globally is concerned, India might have a part to play but it is predominantly because Pakistan is seen as a military-ruled terrorist nation all around the world.

In fact, the PTI chief has never concealed his anti-Modi emotions. However, his warning to India and prime minister Modi is nothing but a laughable gimmick. Imran Khan who is set to be made prime minister by the Pakistani military is going to be nothing more than a spokesperson of the Pakistani military establishment.

Nawaz Sharif was the last beacon of hope towards a democratic Pakistan trying to forge better relations with India. However, with a spokesperson of the Pakistani military assuming office in a rigged election, all hopes of better Indo-Pak ties have been dashed and it seems the skirmishes between the two countries are only going to pick up from here.
