Senior RSS functionary, Indresh Kumar has stated that India can take Lahore if it chooses to do so. Coming from a senior RSS functionary, the statement is a telling one. Indresh Kumar has said that the surgical strikes have sent a clear-cut message to Pakistan that “India can enter Lahore anytime.” He said, “We carried out surgical strikes. It was a message to Pakistan that we can enter Lahore anytime. So, be careful.”

This is a very important statement made by a senior Sangh functionary.  Earlier, National Security Advisor, Ajit Doval had also said that Pakistan would lose Balochistan if they dared to carry out another 26/11 on Indian soil. India, in last four years, has developed enough strategic depth, capacity and the most importantly, political will, to break Pakistan into pieces just like it did in 1971. PM Modi, through his diplomatic acumen, has already isolated Pakistan internationally. In the latest blow by the Global Money Laundering & Terrorist Financing Threat Assessment organisation, FATF, Pakistan has been formally placed in the grey list

One of the major successes of the Modi government is the way it has dealt with Pakistan. From the surgical strikes to Foreign minister Sushma Swaraj’s fiery speech at United Nations, India has made it clear that it refuses to play by Pakistan’s rules after 2014. Whenever Pakistan has come face to face with India, it has only tasted defeat. India has hardened its approach towards Pakistan since the advent of the Modi government. The previous government was only making the situation embarrassing by organizing events like Aman ki Asha. Now, the country has a government which has a clear cut policy regarding Pakistan. Now, India is answering Pakistan in its own language and giving them a taste of their own medicine.

While delivering a lecture on the “present situation in the country”, Indresh Kumar also said, “In alliance, we had to carry out operations… 250 to 300 terrorists were eliminated. The Army, police, NIA and Intelligence Bureau were given a free hand to destroy the (terror) funding network.” In his lecture, Indresh Kumar made it crystal clear that his dream of Akhand Bharart remains as steadfast as ever. He exhorted the audience to “construct a house in Nagpur and another in Lahore or Rawalpindi”. He further added, “We pray to God that we breathe our last in an ‘Akhand Bharat’.”

The RSS leader Indresh Kumar also said that there would be no discrimination in tomorrow’s India that would be built on the ideals of RSS founder KB Hedgewar and father of the Indian constitution Dr B R Ambedkar.

If the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) continues to remain in power over the next few years, which is very likely, then whatever Indresh Kumar has said will surely come true. The BJP government under the leadership of PM Modi is doing its level best to enhance strategic capabilities and social transformation of India. If the present situation is any indication, with India reaching new heights and Pakistan’s consistent decline, then one day, the dream of Indresh Kumar to breathe in Akhand Bharat will surely come true.
