Prime Minister today addressed a rally in Sant Kabir Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh on the occasion 500th birth anniversary of poet and mystic Sant Kabir. He is the first PM to visit the shrine of Sant Kabir in Maghar, Sant Kabir Nagar. PM Modi offered a ‘chadar’ and paid floral tributes at the ‘mazaar’ of Kabir. He also laid the foundation stone of Kabir Academy at Maghar. Maghar is the place where Kabir took his last breath. Because of the superstitions, Maghar is considered to be as the gateway to hell. It was believed that anyone who dies in Maghar goes to hell. In order to break this superstition, 15th-century poet Kabir travelled to Maghar and spent last days of his life there. Now, the PM Modi has decided to launch the campaign for 2019 general elections with respect to Uttar Pradesh from Maghar.
In his speech, PM Modi launched a blistering attack on his political opponents. PM Modi targeted SP-BSP coalition by saying that those who talk about Samjwaad and Bahujan are only interested in getting political power and reminded people that those who protested against the emergency (Mulayam and the company) are today allying with those who imposed the emergency just for the sake of power.
PM Modi also criticized at bungalow row of former UP CM Akhilesh Yadav. PM Modi in a sharp attack on Akhilesh Yadav and Samajwadi party said that previous governments of Uttar Pradesh were only concerned about their big Bungalows and had no interest towards the welfare of poor people. This comment by PM Modi was made in the context of resistance shown by former UP CM Akhilesh Yadav in vacating government bungalow. Later on, he vacated bungalow but only after thoroughly desecrating and destroying it. When the bungalow was opened for inspection by officials on Saturday, it was found that air conditioners, Turkish tiles, Italian marble and even bathroom fittings had been stolen from the property. Not only were this, even water taps were missing from the bungalow, and the swimming pool and the cycling track was badly damaged. Even the kitchen faced the brunt of the arrogance of the former Chief Minister.
Even after doing all this, Akhilesh Yadav was shameless enough to call it a conspiracy of the BJP to malign his image. It looks like what Akhilesh Yadav did to the bungalow will cost him dearly. BJP will not let him get away with it.
PM Modi also targeted opposition parties for creating an obstruction in passage of Triple Talaq Bill in the Parliament. PM Modi, in his speech, further said that it is the BJP who is working for the poor people and empowering them by providing financial security. He said, “Over the last four years, we have worked round the clock towards banking the unbanked, funding the unfunded and financially securing the unsecured. All this is being done to fulfil the dreams and aspirations of India’s poor, neo-middle class and middle class.”
In his speech, PM Modi lambasted those political parties who are working in the direction of creating unrest in the country. PM Modi said, “There are some parties which do not want peace & development but unrest. They think if there will be unrest, they will be politically benefitted. Such people are cut off from their roots. They don’t know the nature of this nation of Sant Kabir, Mahatma Gandhi & Baba Ambedkar.”

Like always, PM Modi tore apart narrative of opposition into pieces and courted the masses through his brilliant oratoral skills. He is already winning the states with his good works and it would be no exaggeration to say that 2019 would be a cakewalk for him with BJP gaining 300 plus seats.
