Subramanian Swamy absolutely destroyed Prakash Raj in Times Now Debate

Subramanian Swamy, prakash raj, times now

Bharatiya Janata Party MP and senior leader Subramanian Swamy is a man who specialises in the annihilation of opponents. A very learned and educated politician, Swamy has posed problems for everyone who has chosen to attack India and its sanctity.

Prakash Raj on the other hand is an actor with an allegiance to the parties in opposition. His lack of knowledge on the issues he raises poses a serious threat to the Indian way of life. Prone to spreading speculative delusions, Prakash Raj is a favourite of the left-liberals. It was through sheer luck that these unequally matched sides were brought together on a debating panel at a Times Now conclave for the Karnataka elections.

The debate was an epic disaster for the ill-equipped villain from the silver screen as Subramanian Swamy was in top form. Subramanian Swamy decimated Prakash and his bundle of lies in the debate which took place yesterday. The debate was full of tall claims without any backing made by the TV personality, the response to which came in the form of hard-hitting fact based replies of Subramanian Swamy. On the other hand, when Swamy levied accusations on Prakash Raj and his ilk, the only response Prakash had was “kuch bhi”. The same response of Prakash Raj could be used to answer all of the accusations they have levied on the right-wing groups in the recent past, and more aptly so.

From Saffron Terror to Hindutvavadi forces wanting to break India, Prakash Raj stammered throughout the entire length of the debate which Swamy had won from the very start. Times Now anchor Rahul Shivshankar who acted as the moderator had to quieten the silver screen villain quite often. Prakash was facing an opponent who is as educated as he is experienced in politics. Social media warrior Prakash Raj had no idea that his accusations would not work in front of Swamy. From allegations of mob-lynching to claims that Hindu terror is being supported by the BJP, Prakash did not have any facts to back them up. Swamy was in full flow throughout the debate, pointing out the flaws in Prakash and company’s argument framing.

Swamy seemed to be enjoying the debate, trapping Prakash in his own web of fantasies. The reason was simple- Prakash came full of hatred towards an ideology he didn’t know, understand or believe in. Swamy was simply there to unmask the social media warriors who threatened his country and religion. Swamy did not shy away from pulling his punches, telling Prakash Raj that even if he was sent to Pakistan they wouldn’t accept him there, while poking fun at his cinematic background. The liberal cabal must have been extremely disappointed with this performance, because it exposed their hollow agenda and gave Subramanian Swamy a platform to address core Hindutva issues meaningfully and convincingly.

Earlier in the day, Prakash Raj had claimed that he had stopped receiving work in the industry ever since he spoke against PM Modi. Clearly, based on the number of Modi despisers in the industry, the actor seems to have confused his professional incompetence with his political views. It was revealed that the actor was banned from the Telegu film industry for bad work ethics.

After the debate, Prakash Raj put out a Tweet admitting defeat. However, it is quite clear that this man is not capable of holding his ground on any platform. Subramanian Swamy is a scholar, a prolific speaker and an excellent debater. When he debates the likes of Assaddudin Owaisi, it can actually be stimulating.

But Times Now made a terrible choice for the opponent this time around, resulting in one of the most one-sided debates of our time. The least they can do is find Swamy a battle worthy opponent next time round.
