Mamata Banerjee learns her lesson, Modi teaches her the right way

Mamata Banerjee is known to have zero tolerance for things which she finds irritating. Her self-obsession and her heavy-handed dealings meted out to those who fail to obey her commands has often resulted in problems for West Bengal government officials. Nobody can question Mamata in West Bengal, unless he/she is a communist/communal. Her head is full of far fetched ideas, and she is at the centre of the whole world in all her ideas. Mamata would be highly disappointed if India and its citizens fail to realize the blessing they have been given in the form of Trinamool Congress and Mamata Banerjee. She is not corrupt, her family members are, she doesn’t get angry, and all the communists who are still alive in Bengal are a living proof. So what if Mamata’s goons rough up people everyday on the streets, they deserve that and more. It is infact Mamata Banerjee’s heart which lets other stay alive. ‘Didi’ has a kind heart and nobody can doubt that. While PM Modi and other BJP leaders are busy giving a fitness challenge to keep the Indians fit, ‘Mamata didi’ couldn’t even walk a few steps.

In Karnataka where she was supposed to attend the swearing in ceremony of H.D. Kumaraswamy.  Mamata ‘Didi’ had been kind enough to give her assent to attend the function. ‘Didi’ descended from her vehicle which was made to stop a few meters away from the centre stage. IPS Neelamani Raju accompanying her had to listen to Mamata’s bitter symphony all through her walk to the stage.

Mamata Banerjee was probably giving IPS Raju tips on how to maintain crowds, based on her experiences in West Bengal. She arrived on the stage with a smile and she continued with her conversation which was interrupted by JD(S) leader H.D. Devegowda. She continued her rant and finally was assigned a seat in the second row on the stage.

The IPS officer, H.D. Kumaraswamy and H.D. Devegowda had to pacify Mamata Banerjee. Her displeasure at being given a seat in the second row will be apparent to anyone, nobody can doubt that. Karma has a funny way of settling differences though and for Didi it happened way to soon.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was scheduled to visit Bengal to meet the Bangladeshi PM and attend a ceremony in Shantiniketan. Mamata Banerjee being the CM of West Bengal was supposed to greet PM Modi upon his arrival in the state. Mamata Banerjee’s luck too failed her as she was nowhere to be found when PM Modi came out of his helicopter after landing in West Bengal. After PM Modi met BJP and other leaders who were waiting to greet him he kept waiting.

CM of West Bengal was nowhere in sight, and then the lenses turn towards a group of people coming towards the helipad. PM Modi stood waiting as Mamata Banerjee came walking towards him with a couple of other leaders and guards. PM Modi by waiting at the helipad had made her walk briskly but this time Mamata Banerjee was seen smiling, her smile extending from ears to ears. PM Modi managed to school Didi in his own special way, no harsh words, no threats even without making a political statement. Pure simple hand motions signalling her to come fast and in a specified direction so that the shawl and bouquet exchange could be photographed. PM Modi is a master at schooling his opponents and Mamata Banerjee had a dose of it. It will take some time for her to fathom how quickly karma took its course and PM Modi was the means to this end. PM Modi managed to make the whole of India have a hearty laugh, but we believe IPS Neelamani Raju would have laughed the hardest.
