From being a trusted aide of AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal, to one of his biggest rivals, acclaimed poet Kumar Vishwas has come quite a long way. Once known as an able successor to the revolutionary change that Arvind Kejriwal claimed to bring into Indian politics, he now stands completely disillusioned with Kejriwal’s tactics, and is all set to bring him down, come what may.
In his latest letter written to current Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, against whom Kejriwal had messed with over alleged financial irregularities during Jaitley’s term as DDCA president, Kumar Vishwas has taken Kejriwal to the cleaners. As revealed by BJP spokesperson Tajinder Bagga, the four-page letter completely exposes the true picture of Arvind Kejriwal.

In his letter to Shri Jaitley, Kumar Vishwas first wishes him a speedy recovery, given that Arun Jaitley had recently undergone a kidney transplant. He then proceeded to describe his association with the Aam Aadmi Party, as to how he got himself associated with a likeminded political outfit, who wanted a reasonable change in the way Indian politics is run.
Following the successful anti-corruption movement led by known Gandhian environmentalist cum social activist Anna Hazare, the same outfit, India Against Corruption, soon converted into Aam Aadmi Party. It is from here that Kumar Vishwas then exposed the entire drama that Arvind Kejriwal conducted in the name of political activism.
According to Kumar Vishwas, Aam Aadmi Party was a ‘party with a difference’ only by name. In reality, they were nothing different from the tomfoolery most political parties in India are well notorious for. Being yes men to the boss, penchant for a dictatorship culture, you name it, and Aam Aadmi Party has it all. Kumar Vishwas confessed that in many instances, the party workers didn’t care to check the veracity of the claims made by Arvind Kejriwal and blindly accepted whatever he said. As if we didn’t know, Mr. Vishwas?
In a sensational expose, Mr. Kumar Vishwas also confesses that most of the allegations that Arvind Kejriwal had made against many leaders, including the likes of Arun Jaitley, Nitin Gadkari, Bikram Singh Majithia, were mere mudslinging instead of a genuine expose.
When Kumar once suggested Kejriwal to check the veracity of the documents that he used to accuse the leaders, Kejriwal shot back, screaming ‘How dare you doubt me? Every single document that I have is as true as Swaraj [the book he has written]’
This claim doesn’t come as a surprise, since Kumar Vishwas himself confessed on India TV’s famous show ‘Aap ki Adaalat’ that despite his personal protests, Kejriwal went ahead with the issue of the controversial statement post the historical surgical strikes in 2016, where he doubted its authencity. No wonder why Yogendra Yadav and Prashant Bhushan were expelled from the party, when they protested against the high handedness of Kejriwal and his cronies.
Apart from the above, Kumar also confessed a deep secret that could upset many a political equation in a swift stroke. According to him, Kejriwal went on his recent sorry spree not because he had a change of heart, but because he was advised by his lawyer to do so. According to the letter, Arvind was told by his lawyer that if convicted for his pending charges, he would have to spend a considerable time in prison, as a result of which Arvind Kejriwal would not only have to step down from the post of the CM, but also relinquish the post in favor of deputy CM Manish Sisodia, someone whom Kejriwal would never like to give his post to.
Yes, of all people, Arvind Kejriwal is himself so power hungry, that he won’t leave his own post in fear of losing it to Manish Sisodia. Ironically, he claimed while forming AAP, that he has no inclination towards power, but wants to clean the mess. So much for progress, eh?
As such, Kumar Vishwas now doubts if the recent sorry spree by Kejriwal is another political stunt. He has now raised some serious questions on the credibility of the man, who was once labeled as the emancipator of Indian politics by some. If true, not only Arvind Kejriwal stands completely exposed, but it is also unlikely that will ever be elected to power again. Whatever might be the motive, for now, Kumar Vishwas has certainly done a nice job by completely exposing the charade that his ex boss ran in the name of alternative politics.
