Rahul Gandhi is a “genius”. No we are “not” being sarcastic.

Rahul Gandhi, the Indian National Congress (INC) “prodigy”, keeps entertaining us from time to time with his ‘witty’ and ‘informative’ pearls of wisdom. His mistakes keep giving Congress leaders nightmares, while for the common people of India it is a healthy dose of humour. The knowledge, or rather, the lack thereof, which Rahul Gandhi possesses on any given topic, is beyond phenomenal. He claims to be the most suited candidate for the Prime Minister’s post as he hails from a ‘dynasty’ of leaders.  Rahul Gandhi does not need knowledge or facts to back up any of the wild claims made by him. Nothing matters, and why should it? He is, after all, a ‘born’ leader.  The apple of the eyes of the Congress leaders, the left-leaning media and his mother Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi can do no harm and must be protected from all harms at any cost. What if he forgets the Constituent Committee consisted of members from all walks of life, what if he deliberately misleads the minority communities regarding the SC/ST Act during his rallies.

‘Born leader’ and ‘inherent’ genius Rahul Gandhi has once again misunderstood and hence misrepresented some facts about the Congress party and its contribution in the Constitution making process. The ‘mastermind’ Rahul has come up with a new ploy called ‘Save the Constitution’, a nationwide campaign which will run at the village level up till 14th April, 2019. This year-long campaign is aimed at safeguarding the Constitution and protecting the rights of Dalits and other backwards classes. The ‘honest’ intention of the Congress Party President is to safeguard the rights of all the citizens of India and to make the Bharatiya Janata Party afraid of the ‘rising power’ of Rahul Gandhi. Kick-starting the yearlong campaign today at the Talkatora Stadium in Delhi, Rahul Gandhi spoke to the Congress workers today. In his ‘informative’ speech today Rahul Gandhi mentioned, “Our institutions were gifted to us by our Constitution.” Rahul also went ahead and said that, “The Constitution was written by Ambedkar and the Congress Party, and gave it to nation. This constitution protects the Dalits, the poor and the women.”

What Rahul conveniently forgot was that the Constitution was made possible by the relentless efforts of the Constituent Assembly which granted equal rights to each and every individual of the nation. The Constitution did not differentiate between man and woman, poor and rich, and although it did give certain rights to some backward classes, it still protected the rights of each and every individual who was fit to be called an Indian citizen. Another ‘minor’ blunder made by the Congress president was that he conveniently forgot names such as Syama Prasad Mukherjee and M.R. Jayakar. Syama Prasad Mukherjee and M.R. Jayakar were members of the Constituent Assembly as well as being Hindu Mahasabha members simultaneously. Syama Prasad Mukerjee also went on to form the Bharatiya Jana Sangh which contested elections against the Jawaharlal Nehru led Congress in the 1952 elections.

Rahul Gandhi cannot be blamed for forgetting this little piece of information as he is above questioning. He also cannot be asked to remember the little details related to Dr. BR Ambedkar losing the elections. The role of Congress in making Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar lose from the Bombay constituency would be too much for Rahul Gandhi. He would have to learn about the role his forefathers played in discrediting the same man whom Rahul hides behind today. But as we all know, that Rahul Gandhi’s forte does not lie in history or general knowledge, and he is hereby absolved of all his sins.
