Budget Promise Vs Delivery, Kapil Mishra exposes AAP Government

AAP Kapil Mishra Budget

On the day of Delhi’s 2018-19 budget, Arvind Kejriwal’s friend-turned foe Kapil Mishra has exposed him yet again in a series of tweets. This is at a time when a tinge of sainthood has sprung in Dilli-ke-maalik’s heart, and he is begging all over the place for the forgiveness of his sins. This is exactly what happens to a faint-hearted dictator. You make enemies attempting to display your bravery, you end up asking for umpteen apologies. You alienate friends (read co-founders), they end up attacking your citadel from all directions. You promise a London-like Delhi, you end up not starting 44 major projects in the country’s capital.

Kapil Mishra has made some serious allegations on the Delhi’s cabinet, of cheating the capital with making false promises in previous budgets. He directly took on Delhi’s Finance Minister regarding a slew of projects.

AAP failed to spend even one-fourth of the budget allotted for education. This is a Déjà-vu of what Manish Sisodia did to hamper Delhi’s education in 2017, when they claimed that they had failed to find land for 500 new schools and would build “classrooms” instead.

In a second and equally crucial mess-up, the government once again didn’t spend one-fourth of the health budget. This is another badge of honor for Satyendra Jain, allegedly entangled in a web of corruption. The Delhi Dental Council scam, alleged instances of bribes, and his unqualified daughter getting the charge of around 100 Mohalla clinics continue to haunt Jain.

The National Capital territory of Delhi covers around 783 square KM of the area, which is more than half of the capital. The government made sure that not even 10 percent of the allocated budget reaches the poor. The urban housing and slum budget also witnessed just one-third of the budget which AAP had initially committed to spend.

Kapil Mishra’s next jibe is a poetic one, expressing his wit and pain.

With a short video of 46 seconds, Mishra again unleashed horror on the Kejriwal government by exposing how they secretly reduced the budget of health and education this January. He also termed the deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia as ‘Bol Bahadur’, as AAP presented a much vaunted fourth budget.

Mishra also demolished the government in a tweet that shows the lack of will-power of AAP.

The major points which will leave Delhi fuming are:

– No free sanitary napkins to girls, whopping 16 crores unused.
– 736 new buses were to run on the roads of Delhi, not even one is bought.
– 24X7 free water project has ZERO colonies mapped.
– CCTVs and free wi-fi are running as strongly as AAP’s fight against corruption.
– No laptops to government teachers, no computers in schools, 182 crores unused.
– No work on the two hostels for 2350 sportsmen.

A detailed pamphlet in Kapil Mishra’s tweet reads thus:

Arvind Kejriwal, who has failed to come out from the mode of being an activist, continues hiding his failures by blaming the center. As the AAP’s list of electoral failures like Varanasi, Punjab, Goa continues to grow and the party continues to lose deposits throughout the country, Kejriwal now stands accused of playing a dirty game, which includes siding with separatists, accepting bribes asking female volunteers to “compromise”.

The country has rightly cut him to size by defeating him wherever he tried to spread the wings. Delhi too will witness a Kejriwal-Mukt-Rajdhani soon.
