Not even 24 hours had passed since the Amarnath Yatra attack and people were already out in the open reaffirming their faith in Kashmiriyat and the mythical composite culture that the word supposedly signifies. In his condemnation of the attack, Rajnath Singh, the Home Minister stated, “The people of Kashmir have strongly condemned the attack on Kashmiri yatris. It shows the spirit of Kashmiriyat is very much alive.

Ravi Shankar Prasad, Union Minister, dubbed the attack an attack on Kashmiriyat as he said, “Amarnath Yatra is a symbol of Kashmiriyat, so this attack is cowardly and highly condemnable.”
Dr. Jitendra Singh went a step further, “An assault on composite culture of Kashmir and indeed on India’s traditionally resilient civilization. Are apologists listening?”
One wonders whether the politicians are really so blind or such ignorance can be attributed to a willful avoidance of truth but it should have been rather clear to everyone who had been paying attention on the developments of the past few decades that Kashmiriyat is a euphemism for Jihad and the establishment of Islamic caliphate of Kashmir. Of course Kashmiriyat is alive, it is the very toxic culture that claimed the lives of the Yatris last night. Kashmiriyat is nourished by the blood of the Dharmikas spilt by Jihadis and the sooner we bury it deep under the ground, the sooner will the Kashmir problem be solved.
‘Composite Culture’ ceased to exist in Kashmir for good when Kashmiri Pandits were driven out of their own lands and slaughtered by fanatics. One would find that Coexistence is a little difficult when one particular community swears to impose their writ upon the land at any cost and is only too willing to embrace violence in the process. Coexistence is a two way street and time and again, as the Muslim Majority has regularly displayed that they are unwilling to compromise on the morbid demands made by their religion, Coexistence is neither feasible nor is it desirable. If dignity and heritage are the price that one must pay for Coexistence, there is another name for such a Coexistence, it is called Slavery.
Politicians have made out Kashmiriyat to be some sort of a sacrosanct virtue that must not be violated at all cost. The hallmark of the Modern Age, it seems, is that people will desperately try to convince themselves otherwise even when Reality stares back at them straight in the eyes. Men would clutch at straws to make reality conform to their particular brand of delusion even when all the evidence begs them to reevaluate their conclusions.
Kashmiriyat is the favored delusion of our current generation of Politicians. Until and unless you solemnly swear by the sacred divinity of Kashmiriyat, you are a fascist who seeks to destroy the Secular Fabric of India. And the louder you sing Paeans to Kashmiriyat, the more you can boast of your Secular credentials. That we have ordained with Kashmiriyat, a vile Islamofascist culture that has committed a genocide within our own lands, as the benchmark of Secularism in India speaks volumes of the nature of our Political discourse.
The reactions on Social Media after the news of the Terror Attack broke out was particularly disturbing. People blamed anything and everything as the cause of the attacks, from lapse Security and failure of Intelligence to the decision to permit the people to perform the Amarnath Yatra, some especially enlightened individuals even claimed it was a Sanghi Conspiracy as the victims were all Gujaratis but none dared to accuse what was the most obvious, Kashmiriyat.
For months writ of the State has been missing in Kashmir -I would have held neither elections nor the Yatra in such times #AmarnathYatra

That bloodthirsty and savage culture that encourages its youth to abandon the ideals of peace and harmony and sets them on a road that ends with the bullet of our brave Armymen.
The sheer number of people who immediately absolved Islamism of its crimes within hours of the attack on Amarnath Yatra was appalling to say the least. And these were the very same people who branded entire Hinduism as intolerant for random crimes committed as a reaction to Cattle smuggling.
More than worrying about the state of the victims and condemning the vicious ideology that inspired the attack, these people were more eager to rationalize and justify the perpetrators of such barbarism. They begged and whined to not make it a Hindu-Muslim issue days after they conjured the mythical involvement of beef in an incident that involved a scuffle over seats and the resulting murder which might have very well been committed as an act of self-defense. Such duplicity and hypocrisy has become the norm and it was exhibited in all its glory all the while glorifying the murderous cult of Kashmiriyat.
Waxing Eloquent about Kashmiriyat is fast becoming a proven method for regular politicians to turn into Statesmen (as Adjudged by Liberal Intelligentsia).
In order to win a war, it is of paramount importance that we ascertain the enemy in all its aspects and evaluate the enemy dispassionately with great clarity. And unless our politicians call out Kashmiriyat for the sham it is, they will never ever be able to solve the menace of Islamic Fundamentalism in Kashmir.
