The proxy war between India and Pakistan is now out in the open.  Be it the warfare on the borders, or of the ideologies, none of the side is ready to budge. At this crucial juncture, the decision of provisionally staying the arbitrary execution of ex Indian Navy Commander, Shri Kulbhushan Jadhav, will undoubtedly open a sea of ideas and discussions, as to what will happen now.

Of course, we have a slight, but important advantage, legally, in this case over our arch rivals Pakistan, but we know how civilized our neighbors can be in such cases after defeat [ask the souls of Captain Saurabh Kalia and Sarabjit Singh for further references]. Following are some theories that have emerged ever since Pakistan officially declared their defiance of the ICJ order:-

While the first and the last theories are quite plausible, both for the diehard optimists and some realists, the second theory cannot be denied as well. However, no matter how low Pakistan stoops  in matter of international politics; even they have some brains in their top brass as well. They might not know the repercussions of their long term goals, but they know the repercussion of one decision very well, that to execute Kulbhushan Jadhav.

I know, not many would love to buy this school of thought, but on a practical note, this point cannot be denied as well. Pakistan can do anything but execute Kulbhushan Jadhav on their whims. No matter how defiant they may seem, deep in their heart, they know this fact very well that the current government in India is not, and won’t be seriously affected by the Deep State, that they’ll let Pakistan get away with their criminal acts, as they did in the case of Sarabjit Singh and Captain Saurabh Kalia.

But what will be the cost of executing Kulbhushan Jadhav?

The cost that Pakistan shall pay for murdering an illustrious ex commander from the Indian Navy, without any valid grounds, will be more than just diplomatic injuries. Not only shall it be isolated, even by its closest allies, who owe their allegiance to the menace of Islamic imperialism, it shall also invite its own destruction, in the following three ways, which are the most probable approaches that are likely to be used by the current Indian government at the Centre:-

For all the fickle minded followers, who divorce with Modi led Central government faster than the speed of light, the last option, except if used as Cold Start, isn’t practical in any aspect, though the first two methods can be. The first two methods call for a Balkanization of one of the most prominent states of unadulterated Islamic imperialism, whose roots are based on the disgusting ideal of religious hatred and Islamic supremacy. If converted into a success, India can be precisely the third nation after Israel and Japan to have openly shown their middle finger to Islamic terrorism, and that is what terrorizes the anti Indian brigade the most, because they know that this government is damn serious about it.

I agree, given that Rajnath Singh is our current Home Minister, this is not a quick possibility, but this policy cannot be denied as well, for Narendra Modi is the last person you’ll look forward to carry aloft the sometimes strange ideals, if not pathetic or impractical, that his mentor, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, exercised as the Prime Minister of India.

Call him whatever you want, but if there is one state, which has seen a minimal terrorist activity since 2002 Gujarat riots, it is the state of Gujarat itself, under the blessings of Narendra Modi. His policies might not suit everyone’s tastes and ideals, but one should not underestimate that man, who as a mere karyakarta [party member] had shown the middle finger to Islamic terrorists by hoisting the national flag at Lal Chowk in Srinagar on 26th January 1992 [I wish he does it once again this time.]  So if his government warns Pakistan of serious repercussions for hanging Kulbhushan Jadhav,  as reflected by Sushma Swaraj, in her statement, do not even risk writing that threat off, because this government actually means it. In Sushma Ji’s words:

“Our position on this matter is clear. There is no evidence of wrongdoing by Shri Jadhav. If anything, he is the victim of a plan that seeks to cast aspersions on India to deflect international attention from Pakistan’s well-known record of sponsoring and supporting terrorism. Under these circumstances, we have no choice but to regard the sentence, if carried out, as an act of premeditated murder,”.

I would caution the Pakistan government to consider the consequences for our bilateral relationship if they proceed on this matter,”.

The only difference being, this government will serve it, in their own sweet style, and nobody knows it better than the enemy itself, Pakistan.
