Arrest warrant against Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal

AAP Sandeep Kumar warrant

A local court in Assam has issued a bailable arrest warrant for Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party National Convener Arvind Kejriwal.

The court has issued the warrant as Kejriwal did not make it to the last hearing before the court. Earlier in a matter of Criminal Defamation, the Court quashed Kejriwal’s application for demand of more time and a plead to not appear in Court hearings. Kejriwal had asked for more time as preparations for MCD elections are underway in Delhi. A case of defamation was filed against Kejriwal for his comment on Prime Minister Modi’s educational qualification.

It is worth noticing that Arvind Kejriwal questioned the Prime Minister’s educational qualification through a letter written to the Central Information Commission (CIC) and demanded the Commission to make public the information related to the education of the PM.

Arvind Kejriwal is busy in Delhi’s MCD elections these days. He is constantly raising the issue of electoral malpractices, most notably about a possible fraud in EVM Machines. He is demanding that EVM should be replaced by ballot paper. Arvind Kejriwal on Monday alleged that the Election Commission has become the greedy blind king Dhritarashtra who wants his haughty son Duryodhana to win at any cost. He further said that EVM machines are being procured from Rajasthan for the MCD elections, while 15 thousand machines are available in Delhi. He said that machines from 2006 to 2013 are not being used, pre-2006 machines are being used cunningly.

This warrant in going to hurt the Delhi CM in a big way because on one hand he is leading the election campaigning for the MCD Elections and on the other hand, a committee headed by former Comptroller and Auditor General V K Shunglu, former Chief Election Commissioner N Gopalaswami and former Chief Vigilance Commissioner Pradeep Kumar, has come out with damning evidence against Arvind Kejriwal led Delhi government. It appears that Delhi government has flouted processes, flirted with nepotism, indulged in corruption and swindled money meant for the public. In some ways, Arvind Kejriwal has turned out to be the exact replica of those he used to excoriate.

He wanted to be like any other politician, well he is suffering the fate of any other politician.
