Arvind Kejriwal has changed many faces in the name of fighting systemic corruption. Using activism as a baton he has tried to change positions to carve his own niche in the realms of polity. He waited for that perfect opportune timing and Anna Hazare provided him that on a platter. Using Anna movement as an opportunity he plunged into active politics forming his own party in the name of providing an alternative to the mainstream. However he has just been like any other politician with an extreme bi polarity of a double facedness. His politics thrived on gigantic allegations of a collusion between BJP Congress controlling the system and pledged freshness. Yet when his party attained a fragmented mandate in a historic election, his principles dissolved for quest of power and he joined hands with Congress to form a govt.

His politics thereafter has attained a pattern of sorts making big charges and alleging hobnobbing of big businesses and other parties. And his yearning for limelight follows as it gives him spotlight and diversion from other contentious issues his govt in Delhi has to face.
Another aspect to the same is mudslinging in the name of PM Modi. As a matter of fact a lot of television channels use Modi to en cash TRPs and set the prime time rolling. Kejriwal has adopted the same policy and has accused Modi favouring big business houses in tune of Adani and Ambani. When Reliance launched JIO and Modi posters were utilised by the company in advertisements, Kejriwal opened a tirade and his political engine works on the same fuel.

So as the country witnessed a galvanising event against black money when PM Modi demonetised 500 and 1000 notes, even the most voiced Modi critic had to acknowledge his daring laudable step. When PM had embarked on an equally brave surgical strike adventure, Kejriwal had played politics to even strike unison with the Pakistani establishment who found him useful to dis credit Indian attack. After a historic surgical strike on black money, Kejriwal is back with his hogging for sound and news bytes.

This time around he has moved away from his favourites Ambani Adani duo and questioned Paytm of benefiting from demonetisation after advertisements emerged of them congratulating Modi for the step. This accusation was seen as till the new currency notes are issued, the crunch will be resolved by incessant use of mobile wallets. This fresh salvo fired by the AAP chief is again has a two prong objective. Primarily this will act as a diversion from the inept ineffectiveness of the AAP govt in handling pollution and secondly it will propel him to news again exploring a conspiracy side to a Modi policy.

As Kejriwal hinted at a pre arrangement between the company and the Modi Govt in a tweet, Paytm CEO Vijay Sharma rebuffed his claims emphasising how his venture was a mere start up to undergo such a deal and the demonetisation policy is undoubtedly benefiting nobody but the country itself.

As the war of tweets has its retweets and shares, Kejriwal deleted his original one which again reiterated his willingness to stay in the news at the back drop of any extent.

The policy may have helped Paytm as its traffic has grown seven times, it’s downloads increased with estimated 30 percent surge in people going for wallet money. As a matter of fact it highlights that the policy has helped the company as a consequence and not a pre arrangement and its matter of basic perception of applying simple logic. When Kejriwal himself applied odd even policy in Delhi, Uber was said to have got rich dividends out of the same but then a grand conspiracy was never prophesied by Kejriwal then. Even during Delhi elections, smartly AAP had even used Modi to suffice their own electoral prospects when Modi for PM and Kejriwal for CM public relations exercise was subtly disseminated.

Arvind Kejriwal as the CM of Delhi has a tripartite life cycle of accusing Modi in the advent of any policy to get limelight, diverting his own mess of issues as a result of it and somewhere retracting it once his folly is exposed. His pattern of politics is now well established and as it gets repeated over again, the efficacy of it is dwindling with time. To become headlines, Kejriwal may just have to stick to his movie reviews then.
