Based on disclosures by a senior Pakistani police official, CNN News18 released an exclusive report. The surgical strike certainly took place. At least 5 Pakistani army men and an unspecified number of militants were killed in the daring cross border surgical strike.
This revelation comes at a time when the absurd cacophonous demand for releasing the Surgical Strike footage is at its peak.
Pakistan after denying the surgical strike quickly changed its stand to ruling out the possibility of a surgical strike as claimed by the Indian Army.
Pakistan is said to have been ferrying journalists to the attack site to confirm its rejection of India’s claims.
Coming back to the exclusive CNN News18 report, Investigations Editor Manoj Gupta called the Ghulam Akbar, SP (Special Branch), Mirpur Range in PoK, who sang like a canary about the night of the surgical strike and confirmed every single claim made by the Indian army. The police official was under the impression he was speaking to his senior ‘IG Mushtaq’.
As per Akbar Samana in Bhimber, Hazira in Poonch, Dudhniyal in Neelam and Kayani in Hathian Bala were under attack by the Indian Army. Pakistani Army was quick to cordon off the areas after the surgical strike.
Akbar also said that the Pakistani Army disposed of the dead bodies in ambulances.
Akbar went on to ascertain every single claim made by Director-General of Military Operations Lt General Ranbir Singh.
As the likes of Arvind Kejriwal and Sanjay Nirupam pitch for the release of the surgical strike video in their bid to somehow shame the government and Pakistan continues to deny the claims of Surgical strike, the revelations of the Pakistani cop proves that a bunch of Indian Army men indeed entered inside Pakistan’s borders, slayed their well-trained militants, razed their citadels of terrorism to the ground and returned unharmed safely to their bunkers.
This should be a major loss of face for Pakistan and its allegedly invincible Army Chief Raheel Sharif. Of course they will continue to deny it but the world now knows the truth. India will not be bullied anymore and will strike again, if need be.
