Pampore Attack: Tales of bravery and a “possible” betrayal

As the nation was celebrating the victory of good over evil on the auspicious occasion of Vijayadashami, our soldiers, as usual, were fighting against the traders of terror, who had infiltrated with the aims of ruining the festive mood in INDIA. Thankfully, their plans were foiled at Pampore once again, and now as per the official sources, at least two terrorists have received their due quota of 72 virgins, after an arduous battle of nearly 72 hours, at a government building in Pampore, in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir.

What we expected was continuous infiltration, which is on the Pakistani cards ever since INDIA gave the traders of terror a taste of their own medicine.  Since the famous September 29 Surgical Strike, terrorists, aided by the Pakistani forces, have infiltrated the Indian region an umpteen number of times, whether in Poonch, or Naushera. However, spurred by the success of the surgical strike across LoC, coupled by unbridled support for the army, the joint forces of Indian Army, BSF and Jammu and Kashmir Police repulsed the attacks, with minimum to negligible casualties.

Cut to Pampore attack: Well equipped and trained terrorists infiltrated the borders and took refuge in the head office Entrepreneurship Development Building, the same building which was under siege in February 2016, leading to the loss of five of our warriors in olive green, including Para Forces officer, Captain Pawan Kumar. The seven storeyed building, empty since the staged protest against the encounter of Burhan Wani acted as a bunker for the two, which made it difficult for the joint forces to target, and thus took almost 3 days to clear up. However, in the end, armed forces prevailed, and contrary to claims of five to seven, only two terrorists were spotted and deservedly shot down.

“The operation was tricky and we did not want any collateral damage,” an army official reported.

To quote one of the officers supervising the operation, i.e. Major General Ashok Narola, “The terrorists survived because the seven story building was like a concrete bunker for them”

However, what we should have really expected, and we didn’t, was this:-

The  location of Pampore is quite strategic, placed near the disputed Line of Control, which is an unofficial border between Pakistan oppressed Kashmir and the Indian region of the same, apart from being close to the capital of the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir, i.e. Srinagar. So who would have the audacity, at such a crucial juncture, when both the neighbors are at loggerheads, to open the front, for the enemies? We don’t need to look very far; she is our very own Barkha Dutt.

Only a few days before the dastardly attack, she posted the following tweets:-

Isn’t this striking your own leg on the axe? Whoever has assisted in the access of the same to Barkha should be put on trial as well, for this was the very region through which the Pakistani terrorists had infiltrated into the Indian region and taken refuge in the Pampore region, where the fight had taken place.  As per the official sources, the terrorists had used a boat to infiltrate the region from the international border at the Chenab River.

While this could be refuted very well by her team of refusers, who are always up in arms whenever one of their tribe is attacked, a series of tweets that followed the same raise some very uncomfortable questions about Barkha Dutt.

Here is Barkha Dutt threatening tax lawyer cum columnist Amrita Bhinder and the content blogging site, PostCard:-

While these could be refuted very well by her team. When Content blogging site PostCard News  published an article about the same unsettling facts that we are talking about and was retweeted by tax lawyer cum columnist Amrita Bhinder, Barkha Dutt threatened about a criminal defamation suit.

So according to the tweets, just because Amrita Bhinder had the guts to question the unquestionable journalist for what seems like a case of helping the nation, Barkha Dutt threatened to sue her. One must congratulate Ms. Bhinder for not bowing down.

How many misses will it take, including the Pampore attack, for the Indian government, to wake up and cordon off high risk areas for journalists.

Coming back to Pampore attack, As per sources, only one soldier is injured, which given the recent spate of attacks, is more than welcome. It’s true, nobody wants war, but if you have a nation like PAKISTAN, better teach them a lesson, without building up too many casualties on our side. However, with the existence of scumbags like Barkha Dutt, this is an uphill task to start with.
