Delhi will witness another agitation, this time it will be Anna Vs Kejriwal

Anna Kejriwal

The distance between Anna Hazare and Delhi’s CM Arvind Kejriwal has increased drastically during the last two years. Now, the astonishingly honest anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare recently said that he would organize a protest in Delhi against Aam Admi Party once he gets concrete evidence against AAP ministers.

There is enough material in the public domain that shows how AAP’s MLAs are involved in various crimes. Senior activist Anna Hazare said he is pained to see AAP’s condition.

Political parties must conduct background check on members

“I have devoted my life to my village, my country, and my society. Today, almost every political party thinks about how they can come to power and make money. But, I had a lot of hopes from Arvind; I believed that Kejriwal’s party would prove itself different from others. Now I can see that half of AAP’s ministers from Delhi have been removed for their wrong doings. So, there is no difference between AAP and other parties now,”-said Anna during his recent interaction with Times Now’s editor-in-chief-Arnab Goswami.

“Before allowing anyone to work for them, every political party should study the person’s background. Why is the person willing to join the party? Is he willing to serve the people without any selfish motive? Unfortunately, parties do not follow these steps while accepting new members,”- said the Gandhian.

“It’s unfortunate to hear that AAP members are exploiting women in various states. Kejriwal has failed to select good people for his party. When I met Arvind Kejriwal for the first time, I saw him as someone who was willing to work for the welfare of his country. Sometimes, he used to stay away from his house for weeks. This was yesterday’s Arvind.  Today’s Kejriwal is the person whose MLAs are involved in various cases. I had warned him to stay away from politics. If joining politics is the answer to every problem, then, India would have had immensely developed during the last seventy years. We had various parties ruling different states for so many decades. But, they all have given the same hooliganism and corruption. All the political parties in the country have failed to bring positive change. First, we were slaves of British, now we are ruled by Indians, nothing much has changed,”-said the anti-corruption crusader.

Voters from Punjab are smart enough

On being asked about his opinion regarding Kejriwal, Anna said he does not have any doubt about Kejriwal’s character, but he cannot say the same about AAP’s ministers and members.

He pointed out that people in Punjab are reading about all the scandals involving AAP leaders and this will influence their decision.

“We will start agitation against AAP once we get concrete evidence against their ministers,”-said Hazare while interacting with journalists.

News channels and BJP as well as Congress would get a large amount of ammunition to attack AAP once activist Anna Hazare books Jantar Mantar to protest against his former colleague. Along with sex scandals, the party is already facing cricketer turned comedian, politician Navjot Singh Sidhu’s ire.

One popular quote says-“What goes around comes around.” This will once again prove to be true for Delhi’s CM.
