A Nationalist Hindu gives a piece of his mind to all his haters

Nationalist Hindu

It would indeed be deplorable to intertwine religious and nationalistic identities or to monopolize nationalism to a particular religion but I am speaking on the behalf of those who never mix their religious and nationalistic identities but merely try to express both of them at the same time.I am a Nationalist Hindu and I have been harassed in a day to day manner along with my whole tribe by certain political outfits, pseudo intellectuals and their agents disguising as ‘unbiased journalists’.

This is a commentary for all those who peddle lies against the Nationalist Hindus and an attempt to expose their false and systematic propaganda. This will carry empirical evidence as to how they first questioned my religion followed by a negative propaganda and wave of intolerance against the expression of Nationalism by those belonging to the Hindu religion. This has ultimately boiled down to a mockery of the nationalist element of the Nation and an unprecedented praise of anti-nationalism, treason and in some cases even religiously motivated terrorism. These three forms of anti-Hindu narratives may overlap with each other and might even be propagated in isolation. While the Hindus have been criticized and even ridiculed for political reasons as a religious group, the other two and the more dangerous of phenomena have developed fairly recently.

Criticism of the Hindu in isolation:

This is the most evident form of the pseudo liberal rhetoric. There has been a comprehensive ridicule of Hinduism ever since vote bank politics became prominent in India. This meant and included portrayal of Hinduism as an unscientific religion with all possible inherent social evils such as a misogynist culture, caste barriers etc. contrary to the actual basis of Hinduism. This propaganda has captured every walk of life and has created effective prejudice against Hindus both among Hindus and non-Hindus.

Thus, while the Legislature and the Constitution of India has left it upon the religious bodies to carry out reforms among their specific religions, Hinduism has been specially targeted. The edifices of marriage and succession have as a result undergone tremendous change and have lost their basic structure. Similarly, the Indian Cinema and other forms of Media have been vocal against the inherent evils of Hinduism and have somehow remained silent against such atrocities in other religions. Though I am not defending the ills of a particular religion and its criticism I am only against the silence of such elements against other religions for purely political reasons.

Criticism of the Nationalist Hindu:

This form of negative propaganda having an intimate connection with the Indian brand of pseudo secularism materialized or to say it accurately properly materialized before the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections. This ideology was nothing but a deliberate failure of certain political opponents of the present Prime Minister Narendra Modi to understand the Nationalism of a person who also happens to be a Hindu as a personality who wants to establish a Hindu Rashtra. As a consequence thereof anyone who was proud of himself/ herself for being an Indian and also being a Hindu was labeled as a ‘communal’ Hindu. This process of maligning the majority community and pseudo secular bashing has only gained greater momentum since the 2014 Elections.

Criticism of the Nationalist:

Since, the political rebuking of the Hindus and the Nationalist Hindus did not yield desired results, the anti Nationalist Hindu conglomerate went a step further and took the shape of an anti Nationalist tribe followed by the role of terrorist sympathizers.

If the JNU incident hints at deplorable sympathy for those speaking against the Nation the NIT Srinagar incident reflects desertion of those who speak for it. This was followed by even more condemnable media coverage of the Buhran Wani funeral followed by sympathy for those injured while pelting stones at the security personnel.

Conclusion:

The Indian leftists and their extended family has fallen in terms of political and moral standards beyond imagination and it seems that they are hell bent on defaming the Nationalist Hindus in all ways, criticizing their Nationalism by falsely representing it as tyranny, defaming their religion and finally by disallowing them to be a proud Hindu and a proud Indian at the same time.

For the masses, it is necessary for them to stay clear of such motivated propaganda and understand that when a person (a nationalist Hindu) tries to reconcile his religious and nationalist identities without intertwining them then it only leads to greater cultural cohesion instead of undermining it as many would want you to believe.
