Salman Khan didn’t kill me. I committed suicide : The Black Buck

Salman Khan Buck

This is what I came across in The Hindu website:

The Rajasthan High Court on Monday acquitted Salman Khan in the blackbuck and chinkara poaching cases of 1998. Justice Nirmaljeet Kaur of Jodhpur principal seat of the High Court pronounced the verdict.

The actor has reportedly been given the benefit of doubt.

Salman Khan was allegedly involved in poaching of two blackbucks near Jodhpur in the intervening night of 1-2 October, 1998. The case under the Arms Act was registered with the Luni Police station in Jodhpur as the forest department of Rajasthan alleged that the arms used by the actor during the poaching incident had expired licences and so he used them illegally.

Khan was in Jodhpur for the shooting of movie Hum Saath Saath Hain when the incident ccurred.

The two blackbucks, a protected animal under the Wildlife Protection Act, were killed on the outskirts of Kankani village near Jodhpur.

The actor was earlier handed down a five-year sentence by a lower court in 2006.

And while I geared myself to vent my ire on my Facebook and Twitter Page, this mail made its way to my inbox. It was straight from Swargalok, my curiosity was aroused. It was from a Black Buck. It had my undivided attention.

The subject of the mail proclaimed: Salman Khan didn’t kill me, I committed suicide.

Hello all,

I am a black buck, but I am no ordinary buck. Long long back, as I was grazing silently in the jungles of Panchvati, a demon called Marich caught me.

Marich: Dear Buck, I want to use your body for an hour, could you leave it please?

Buck: Dear Demon, I do not know how to quit the body and even if I do, why should I give it to you? I have better things to do.

Marich: I am Ravan’s uncle, if you don’t give your body, I’ll kill every single deer in the jungle. Now tell me.

I was helpless so I surrendered. The demon entered my body, used his maya to give it a golden hue and used it to lure Sita which eventually led to her abduction. But Ram’s arrow killed the demon. Before dying Marich said:

I am going to succumb to my injuries, but you dear buck…you take this boon of immortality from me. You won’t die unless you wish to end your life yourself. No one can kill you.

I continued living thence, Yugas commenced and concluded before me. I continued living with remorse and dishonor. I was the reason behind Devi Sita’s abduction. Once while wandering near the jungles in the outskirts of Jodhpur, I decided to put an end to my miseries. I told the god of death, Yama that I wish to end this wretched life of mine. As the Doots of Yama descended down to take me away, a stray bullet hit me. I laughed at the timing of the gunshot. I was immortal. I had committed suicide and this man shot at me.

Only when I reached Swargalok, I got to know that the man who shot at me was the famous Bollywood Superstar, Salman Khan. I just want to confess that he is not guilty. Salman Khan is innocent. Salman Khan didn’t kill me. I committed suicide.

Yours Truly,

Black Buck

Now that Salman Khan has gotten the Baizzat Bari status in the 2002 hit-and-run case, this suicide note of sorts should settle the black buck case too. The courts have declared that no one was driving the Toyota, Salman Khan was not drunk, some guys died just like that. And the immortal black buck left his earthly abode purely by choice.

Salman Khan is an innocent man.
