Supriya Sule THREATENS to “take care” of Sadhvis and Yogis

Supriya Sule

“I am from a family that does not have anything to do with Sadhvis. We follow rationalists like Dabholkar and Yashwant Rao Chavan. If anyone touches Muslims, he or she will have to face NCP workers,”-said Lok Sabha MP Supriya Sule while welcoming Maulana Kadri in the party during NCP’s 17th anniversary celebration event held on 10th June.

Most of the NCP’s stalwarts are facing corruption allegations. Investigative agencies have already found evidence against leaders like Chhagan Bhujbal, Ajit Pawar, Sunil Tatkare, etc.  Former NCP MP Sameer Bhujbal and his uncle Chhagan Bhujbal (Maharashtra’s former deputy CM) are currently in jail.

Political analyst Prakash Bal Joshi recently interacted with journalists and shared his opinion about NCP’s identity and survival crisis. He believes that the party would face a lot of difficulties to come out of the situation.

Senior party leaders also showed their opportunistic characters and willingness to compromise ideology by declaring support to the BJP after state assembly elections. Most surprising part was Devendra Fadnavis and BJP’s willingness to accept the NCP’s support, just to keep Sena away from some portfolios. Sources suggest that BJP had to change its plan because of pressure from the RSS.

Anyway, getting back to the point, instead of worrying about all these factors and problems from her party, Sharad Pawar’s daughter, Lok Sabha MP Supriya Sule hit out at Sadhvi Prachi and Yogi Adityanath.

Using strong words, Supriya Sule, Lok Sabha MP from Baramati constituency actually threatened Sadhvi Prachi by saying that NCP workers will take care of her if she comes to Maharashtra and talks against Muslims.

“Humse panga na lena. Kadri bhai, aap ko nahe jana padega, yeh apne NCP ki fauj hai, wahi usko theek karenge”

“Until recently, I used to think Sadhvis spread the message of God, advice people to stay away from non-veg, they advise people to practice religion, Yoga, etc. But, since I heard Sadhvi Prachi’s recent speech, I am scared of Yogis and other such people,”-said Supriya Sule.

Supriya Sule’s Secular card

Supriya Sule’s statement did not surprise individuals who closely follow the NCP’s political journey. Several of NCP leaders have been linked with the underworld, ISI, and even terrorists. Best examples are Fauzia Khan, and Aslam Shaikh.

Surprisingly, LET terrorist Abu Hamza had stayed at NCP’s former MLA and Minister Fauzia Khan’s room in MLA hostel while planning 26/11 attacks. Their former leader Aslam Shaikh has dozens of cases related to national security (including one for helping Pakistani spy) registered against him.

Tried to prove that terrorists are secular

As a journalist, I was really surprised when I learned about how senior leader and NCP Chief Sharad Pawar had asked investigative agencies to add Masjid Bunder as 13th blast site during 1993 serial blasts investigation.

All the blast sites were selected to target Hindus, but in order to add ‘secular’ element in the case, the then Chief Minster Shard Pawar added Masjid site in the list of blast sites. Later, he claimed that he did so to avoid violence between two communities, and to defuse Shiv Sena’s attention as they would have possibly targeted people from minority community for revenge. The court did not criticize Pawar for this step, but wasn’t this wrong? Didn’t he misguide the country? Terrorists were targeting Hindus, weren’t they? They were blaming Sri Lankan terrorists until investigations revealed D-company’s hand!

Later, the NCP chief had supported the ‘Hindu Terror Theory’ along with friends like former Union Home Minister Sushil Shinde, P Chidambaram, and Digvajaya Singh.

Nationalist Congress Party and its affiliates like Sambhaji Brigade often make it in the headlines for organizing anti-Brahmin rallies and speeches. But, to stay in power even after winning just 44 seats in 2014 assembly elections, the NCP was willing to join hands with the same ‘Hindu fundamentalists’ and their Brahmin Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. How convenient, isn’t it?
