I was never a Bhakt. I am rather a committed Nationalist since the past 25yrs. Since the day I came out of my Engineering College. Since the day a particular incident helped shape my views on many issues. Much before the many Millions of Bhakts were born or were still toddlers in their mother’s laps. I was, I am, and I will be a Nationalist till death!
Having said that, Im a big fan of PM Modi. I personally think he is the best thing to have happened to our nation in a long long time. It is necessary to be objective at times. And, today is one of those times, where I sincerely feel that, PM Modi though speaking and deliberating outstandingly as usual on a wide range of issues on the Times Now Interview, has erred slightly on a highly controversial question asked by a rabble rousing anchor.
By the look on his highly energetic and radiant face at that question, it was clear that PM Modi did not like the question, but, it also seemed very clear and evident that he was expecting it and wanted to indulge his new fan (or fans) by answering on their expected lines.
If I were Modi, I think I would have measured my words carefully before either praising Rajan or ticking off Swamy (without naming him) in public. Since I need Swamy in the Rajya Sabha. I need Swamy to keep the TDK (that’s what Swamy calls Sonia Gandhi) and her Budhu son, Bottle daughter & Goon Son-in-law occupied. I need Swamy against Kejriwal. I need Swamy against the Owaisis without the need for rabble rousing Adityanaths or Sadhvis. I need his intellect. I simply need Swamy for many things.
There is a saying in Telugu translated into English ‘You can withstand the flood, but you cannot withstand the slush created by the flood!’ Swamy is that Slush created by a flood!
At a time when entire Delhi BJP is clueless about Kejriwal’s antics, he shook him with just one appearance at BJP MP Girri’s Fast. Did anyone notice Kejriwal’s comparative silence since Swamy announced his intentions against him? Who better than Kejriwal can understand the damaging value of a slush? Since Kejriwal himself is that slush. Difference being, he is a slush created by an overflowing sewage drain, and Swamy one created by a Tsunami.
If I were Modi, Rajan cannot and can never do this for me. If I would have given Rajan a 2nd term, he would have again commented that our nation is a ‘One eyed King in the land of the blind!!’ He would have again commented on intolerance in the Nation and gifted our Liberals and Seculars a stick to beat us with again, as he had done the last time around.
Swamy single handedly changed RS equation into a one sided affair. He virtually single handedly destroyed the 1st family of the Congress. Swamy is simply irreplaceable and unmatchable. Modi ji, we need him to take on the Powerful Liberals and Seculars intellectually. You need him to pay back the Sardesais and Barkhas in their same coin intellectually. Because, that is the language they understand. In short, you need him for all the dirty work which your esteemed colleagues like Jaitley can never do. But yes! I think he should be asked to restrain himself in public.
