Modi in Odisha: Modi declares an all-out war against the Left Bloc

Modi in Odisha

Ever since Modi took oath as the PM of India, all hell broke loose. The concealed anger of the left cabal was out in the open. They began attacking Modi right left and centre. The entire timeline of their attacks have been covered in my article Modi Vs The Left: Why does the Left hate Modi and Why Modi must take them seriously?

Modi in Odisha: What he said

Modi doesn’t really respond to their gimmicks but yesterday Modi chose to sing a different note. Yesterday, addressing a huge crowd at Bargarh in Odisha, Modi said:

Some people remain occupied with only mission of criticising my government from morning to evening. They could not digest the simple fact as to how a tea vendor went on to become Prime Minister. This has not gone down well with them.

Besides, I have done something which has made life difficult for many. Corrupts could no more indulge in fraudulent activities. Those who were involved in corruption became very angry with me. When I started seeking accountability from Non-Government Organisations, they all got united and turned against me

Modi embarked on his mission to clean India of the NGO filth almost immediately after taking the PM Chair.  Most NGOs in India are a breeding ground of corruption. A lot of NGOs in India are involved in paying off people for staging protests against corporations and projects. The Koodankulam nuclear plant agitation or the agitation in Odisha against POSCO can be taken up as good case studies. Other NGOs are involved in killing the brand image that India is. One example would be their desperate attempt to make India look like the “Rape Capital”. Another would be the “Minority is not safe” in Modi’s India attempt. Propagation of western style feminism can be taken as the third example. Some NGOs are conventional conversion Christian schools. A percentage of the funds received is doled out as freebies for achieving mass-scale conversions.

In India, We have one policeman for 709 people while we have 1 NGO/400 people.

Modi understands the Left – Media – NGO nexus better than anyone, precisely because he was the prime target of them for a decade. He cracked down on the NGOs almost the moment he grabbed the PM Chair. Most 5 star activists and intellectuals have NGOs registered in their names and Modi shutting them down is not good news. Their foreign masters were rattled too.

Modi in Odisha: Legalities need to be respected

You tell me if it is wrong to demand accounts of funds coming from foreign soil. The
country needs to be informed about income and expenditure. It is all written in the law book. But ever since I started asking accountability, their only aim is how to finish Modi, how to destabilise Modi government and how to throw muck on Modi.

According to the Foreign Funding Contribution (Regulation) Act, it is mandatory for NGOs to be registered under this law to receive funds from abroad. They also need to declare their donor names. Any NGO that doesn’t fit the bill and/or refuses to comply should be closed down.

Modi in Odisha: Has he declared a war against the Left Bloc?

Modi took the challenge of the left head on by declaring an all-out war: He said “I want to make it clear that you have elected me to save the country from these vices. I won’t deviate from the aim you have sent me for. I am not going to stop or get tired. There is no question of bowing down either
