For all the ravings his brother had indulged in against Hindus, Asaduddin Owaisi, the new messiah of Indian Muslims was in search of words, when he was told to ‘shut’ his mouth.
The fact that Asaduddin Owaisi was a new face in the minority leaders, who could articulate well in English, apart from the ‘boring’ Salman Khurshid, Asaduddin Owaisi, the parliament member from Hyderabad was bluntly shown his place in the eyes of Islamic State that is on its way to create a Caliphate that would rule entire world, eventually.
The fact that the party he leads to had fought with Indian Union, during the police action to include the princely state of Hyderabad with India, by Sardar Patel was something he could never erase from the history. However, the significant thing is, apart from prefixing the party’s name with ‘All India’ nothing was done even by his grandfather, to erase the history. Given the fact that intellectual levels of all generations of Owaisis was way above the intellectual level of average Muslim leaders like Azam Khan and others, the retention of same name to continue politics based on a community’s perspective in a secular nation explains a HOPE, the first Owaisi had. They still expect to have a nation for them to rule, though meanwhile exploit the current Indian system.
When Asaduddin Owaisi, the current leader of Majlis felt his services would be in demand for his community, at national level, he took a plunge into national politics. And he did restrict his brother, whose intellectual capacity is almost comparable with the uncrowned prince of Congress. It was this brother, Akbaruddin Owaisi, who owned the notorious quote, “Remove Police for fifteen minutes. We’ll finish off 100 Crores Hindus”. It is altogether another story that after such fierce speech provoking common Muslims, he ran away to London immediately fearing arrest. He also voiced his opinions about honouring fatwas issued to eliminate Salman Rushdie and Taslima Nasreen.
However, Asaduddin Owaisi was successful in quelling the voice of his younger brother and tried hard to expand the horizon of his party. He was rewarded by two assembly wins in the last Maharashtra elections, though he failed to open account in Bihar.
But, all his political acumen was simply reduced to ashes that are not so sacred in his feelings when @abotalout tweeted to Asaduddin Owaisi “Its better for you to shut your mouth on Islamic State if you don’t know the truth, Islamic State will invade India soon”.
Coming to think of it, I don’t remember any politician or news anchor who could tell the truth so bluntly in the face of Owaisi. Not the one used to get trolled, even on twitter, Owaisi retorted to the person, who apparently was an ISIS guy or sympathizer, calling him a Takfiri, a term used for persons who accuses other Muslims of leaving the fold of Islam. Owaisi also dared the person for a debate, but was careful enough to invite by being respectful – the purported supporter of ISIS @abotalout was referred to – ‘Sir’.
It is somewhat funny the way our politicians choose to refer to terrorists and their leaders and supporters in a respectful manner. Remember the Digvijay Singh’s “Osamaji”?
With another Imam Jafar Sadiq joining the conversation, the chitchat soon resembled a kitty party. When the Imam clarified that ISIS was called ‘Khwarij’ by imams, the @abotalout responded asking, then why US is bombing Iraq and Syria? The masala was provided when they were discussing about the internal divisions of Islam – Shias and Sunnis. Apparently, the ISIS guy was a Sunni one, who claimed that Shias were begging for help from the US and are spreading lies about ISIS.
Though the conversation was funny enough to ROFL, the icing on the cake was the following tweet by @abotalout:
“Islam is peace ISIS is not killing anybody except Allah’s enemies i think you only watching the bbc cnn jewsnews”
I really like it when a killer claims his acts are for peace. Given the hypocrisy exhibited now, no wonder, when they come into power, they will have guidelines issued for rapes.

It seems Hinduism and Christianity have already seen their prime and have reduced to only a fragment of what they used to be. Now, it probably is the turn of Islam. Normally, those who claim to protect destroy the thing. In this case, ISIS would get all credit if Islam fragmented to such an extent, from where it could never claim its previous glory of medieval times.
However, one thing I could not understand was how the twitter is allowing the handle to openly support ISIS? In fact there is a link to the unofficial website of ISIS. On checking, it opened a site in Arabic and for my lack of Arabic knowledge, I had to close it down. But, why this bloody site is not banned, when the Government was proactively banning all torrent downloading sites?
And how and why our politicians and imams are conversing with such a blood thirsty fellow? I don’t think they were trying to pacify him and turn him into a Sufi saint.
