0.7%:     As per the 2011 census data, the percentage of Hindus in India declined by 0.7%

The proportion of Hindus declined to below 80% for the first time

As per the 2011 census data, Assam and West Bengal witnessed the sharpest increase in the Muslim population during the 2001-2011 decade, the change is being accredited to the illegal Bangladeshi immigrants to these states.
