Liberals aren’t worried about Basirhat Riots but about an entirely Different Thing, Their Shamelessness will make you very Angry

Seculars Communals muslim mobs riots west bengal

The riots by Muslim mobs at Basirhat, West Bengal mark another dark phase in the history of West Bengal.

Under Mamata Banerjee’s rule, the law and order situation in West Bengal has been consistently compromised for the sake of Minority Appeasement. And Hindus have had to pay for her sins with their property and dignity. Trouble began when a 17-year old posted allegedly offensive content on Facebook which caused distress to the perennially offended community. Not satisfied with the arrest of the teen, Peaceful mobs demanded that the youth be handed over to them to be stoned under Sharia Law. When he wasn’t handed over to them, the mob took to rioting on the streets destroying Hindu property at will.

Until the events in West Bengal, the #NotInMyName movement was gathering some sort of momentum but the riots against Hindus left them red faced and nowhere to hide. Most mainstream media outlets chose to focus on Mamata Banerjee’s infantile rants against the Governor of West Bengal, accusing him of threatening her, instead of the riots themselves. CNNNews18 went one step further and declared there was no communal tension in the area. Along expected lines, there were very few, if any, unequivocal condemnation of the events that transpired and even fewer were the numbers who specifically used the term ‘Muslim mobs’ or chose to blame ‘Islamic fundamentalism’ for the series of events.

Liberals are quite bitter about the West Bengal riots and obviously, for all the wrong reasons. They are most bitter about the fact that these riots would further fuel the rise of the Hindu Right.

They are least bothered about the Hindu lives that were affected and property that was destroyed. Above all, they are least concerned about the poor boy whose life is under severe threat for a mistake committed under the heady influence of youthful mischievousness. All the ‘Free Speech’ warriors seem to suddenly remember some urgent business they have to attend elsewhere whenever the feelings of the Peaceful Community is offended.

Certain sections of the media, some subtly and others more openly, are choosing to blame the BJP for the West Bengal riots in the State.

One wonders what kind of perverted logic allows one to blame the opposition in a state ruled by a Secular political party for riots committed by Muslim mobs. Is it merely because the BJP is perceived as Hindu?

For no other reason could explain the morbidity of such an accusation. Others have chosen to spend the entirety of their intellectual resources, which is observably not sufficient enough to comprehend the realities of existence, on accusing Times Now and Republic TV for an ‘attempt to escalate Communal tension’ in the State. Scores of Hindu property was set on fire, Mobs ran riot demanding the right to stone a minor to death; one is forced to wonder how could things possibly escalate from here on?

Another bunch of Peak Rational Secularists have rationalized the riots by Muslim mobs as a consequence of Cow Vigilantism. I had mentioned in my previous article that liberals will blame riots against Hindus on Cow Vigilantism here onwards but I had no way of knowing I would be proved right so soon. On hindsight, my words seem almost prophetic. There is another bunch of people who claim it is an instance of exemplary administration by the TMC government considering no lives were lost in the chain of events. The depravity of such a mindset is unparalleled. Instead of holding her accountable, sycophants are actually praising her because ‘no lives were lost.’

JantaKaReporter proved again their basic lack of integrity and journalistic ethics and when they violated law by disclosing the identity of the youth whose life is under threat from Muslim mobs. Was it utter incompetence or sheer malice? It’s no wonder then that the Media Fraternity is most despised the world over. Meanwhile, Amit Malviya, the IT in-charge of BJP, tweeted a video where ‘Mamata Banerjee’s Vote Banks’ could be seen calling for the annihilation of ‘Aryas’ (implying Hindus).

If the mob indeed harbors such delusions, they would be well advised to heed the words of Medhatithi, “Aryavarta is the land where Aryas rise up again and again—and even if some forces overrun it, they do not abide there for long.”
