On the day of Sankashti Chaturthi, after getting up early in the morning, after taking bath, clean the place of worship and sprinkle Gangajal.
Light a lamp in the temple of Lord Ganesha.
Do tilak of Ganesh ji from a distance and offer flowers.
After this, offer 21 Durva knots to Lord Ganesha. Offer Ghee’s Motichoor Laddu or Modak to Lord Ganesha.
After that, perform the aarti and ask for forgiveness for the mistake and omission during the puja.
