Banneraghatta Biological Park

Kids love it when learning feels exciting. That’s exactly what Banneraghatta Biological Park offers! Located 20.7 km from the city centre, it offers a mix of zoo, butterfly park, and safari experience.

Imagine your child standing in awe, wide-eyed and grinning, looking at the hundreds of colourful butterflies fluttering in a lush garden. Kids are fascinated by the animal world, and the park captures their attention with safari rides through protected zones, giving your children a chance to observe animals in their natural habitats.

The park is open from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM, six days a week, and is closed on Tuesdays. If you’re planning a full-day visit here, consider booking a Bangalore car rental to travel at your own pace without the hassle of public transport.

Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium

If your young one is a space or science enthusiast, the Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium is just the perfect place for them. Located near Raj Bhavan Road, it offers an immersive experience of the mysteries of space by combining entertainment and learning in an inspiring way.

A major part of the planetarium is a dome that shows the solar system, stars, and other celestial phenomena. Additionally, there’s a Science Park outside the planetarium with interactive science models and exhibitions for kids to experience hands-on learning.

The show timings are from 10 AM to 5:30 PM, six days a week. It’s closed on Mondays. Try to visit on weekdays to avoid school tour crowds and arrive early to grab tickets.

Booking a car rental service for the visit can help you cover this and also other nearby attractions without any time restraints.

Snow City

Want to escape the city heat and also have never-ending fun? Snow City, near Fun World on Jayamahal Road, is the perfect place for you and your kids! It’s Bangalore’s first indoor snow-themed amusement park, where temperatures drop to -5°C.

Children can enjoy all things snow — whether it’s the slides, building snowmen, snowball fights, or dancing on an icy floor. Everything is done in an enclosed, safe environment, and the gear is provided to ensure the safety of all visitors.

Suited for children above 3 years old, the sessions start every hour and last for 45 minutes. Although the entry fee includes winter wear, you can carry warm clothes for the added comfort of your kids.

It’s a fun and refreshing choice! So, use a reliable outstation cab app and book comfortable cabs to explore unique spots beyond typical parks.

Wonderla Amusement Park

No list is complete without Wonderla, Bangalore’s biggest and most thrilling amusement park. It’s located about 29 km from the city and promises a full day of excitement for children of all ages.

Wonderla is kid-friendly in all senses. From offering high-adrenaline rides to child-friendly rides and water slides, it has something for every age group!

Plan an early morning start to make the most of the day. Avoid weekends if you don’t want to spend time waiting in long queues. Locker and costume rentals are available on-site. If you book tickets online, you can avail of offers, discounts, and combo packages.

Looking at its distance from the city, many families opt for a Bangalore car rental for a comfortable ride to and from the park.

Cubbon Park and Bal Bhavan

Cubbon Park, paired with Bal Bhavan, is a winning choice for parents looking for a relaxed outing closer to nature. It’s centrally located and has many activities for young children.

Bal Bhavan inside Cubbon Park features a toy train, a small play area, and boating facilities. Additionally, the wide-open spaces are best for family picnics, games, and allow kids to simply run around.

It’s open daily from morning till sunset. The best time to visit is either in the early morning or late afternoon. Carry snacks or pack a picnic for the day out.

Whether you want to take a half-day trip or make a full day out of it by clubbing it with a visit to nearby museums or restaurants, a reliable car rental service can be your ideal partner in this journey.

Wrapping Up

While Bangalore makes it easy for families to plan a memorable day out with kids with its variety of attractions, the real challenge is reaching the destinations smoothly.

Savaari Car Rentals offers the right answer with its comfortable, chauffeur-driven services. They save you from the stress of driving and parking and allow you to explore the city and its hidden gems with ease.
