On Monday, a Hyderabad court granted bail to six people accused of trespassing and vandalism at the residence of actor Allu Arjun in Jubilee Hills. The group, reportedly from Osmania University’s Joint Action Committee (OUJAC), demanded ₹1 crore as compensation for the family of a woman who died in a stampede at Sandhya Theatre during the premiere of Allu Arjun’s movie “Pushpa 2: The Rule.” The woman’s eight-year-old son sustained injuries and is under treatment. During the hearing, the court ordered the accused to lodge ₹10,000 as bail along with two sureties within three days.
However, after the incident, political connect has been pressed against the BRS leader Krishna, as he claimed that one of them, Reddy Srinivas, is linked with Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. Srinivas had filed his nomination for the 2019 Zilla Parishad elections as a candidate for Congress.
On Sunday, Krishank shared pictures of the accused on Twitter, including a picture of him posing with the chief minister.

Krishank also posted “OUJAC started the great Telangana agitation in 2009. Using it for violence and blackmail is disgusting. Reddy Srinivas, who attacked Allu Arjun’s residence, is not a student leader of Osmania University. He is a close aide of Revanth and Kodangal Congress candidate of the 2019 ZPTC poll.”

Video footage captures a gang of men entering the actor’s house, breaking flowerpots, and raising slogans and holding placards. The gang allegedly hurled tomatoes and clashed with the security guards before they were subdued. At that point of time, Allu Arjun was not present in the house.
Revanth Reddy not only condemned the act but also urged authorities to take appropriate measures to maintain law and order. Congress leaders also criticised the attack, underscoring the importance of respecting private property while the investigation continues.
This incident took place a few days after Allu Arjun requested fans to remain calm amidst the row of allegations related to the stampede. The actor arrested after the tragedy was granted interim bail by the High Court of Telangana. Cases have been filed against the actor, his security forces, and the management of the theater under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
It, however, reveals the growing tensions and political implications surrounding the tragic event in Sandhya Theatre. High Court of Telangana
